A need for intervention and deployment of deputies homeland security to create order in the chaos. 

Further studies domestic violence primary cause financial insecurity, hunger malnutrition ECT ECT...

I agree with most of what you said. I don't agree with the Republicans want to eliminate Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner! The Left wants chaos and scorched earth! The ebt cards with no money for an extended period of time will cause unrest across the country. Hard to believe we have 52M on SNAP!

 Who has missed multiple paychecks?  Most civilian workers missed their first full check on Oct. 24.

I am quite sure those employees have food in the cupboard to last a bit longer.

There are plenty of folks that are not federal employees that really need food.

The folks are also getting financial help from institutions and such because they realize they will get back pay, etc..  The real destitute does not get that help.

If the Democrats really were concerned about these workers that are voters of both parties, they would open the government and get these workers paid.  Instead they continue to vote against doing that.  

These workers cannot blame anyone but the Democrats for not getting paid.

The true destitute can use the Walmart Turkey Meal not the federal workers.

Both sides are pretty dumb, but I get what you are saying....

The shutdown is both sides fault and not in the best interest of the American people...holdouts started with the Dems trying to make a point, I get that, but in the end where is it getting everyone...the government spends frivolously on so many other things and the budget is always highly contested, but the nuances of government spending has always been contentious from both sides...a bargaining chip if you will....government spending is and has been a joke for many many decades...needlessly spend here and needlessly spend there, but let's pinch this and that when they grossly overspend on crap all the time....guilty on both sides and not in the American people's best interest...   

It be neat if we had oversight on our spending and government efficiency.  I think if we got a few of business community leaders to peek into the books we could really get this country back on track.
