What's even funnier is that no one's holding anyone else hostage at gunpoint to read a particular thread, let alone follow picks.  IF you're that clueless and tail blindly, the onus is on YOU and no one else.  If you tail and it ends poorly, then tread carefully next time.  It's common sense which apparently is in short supply.

If you agree, great.  If you don't, fine.  Move on instead of harping on it like it were a matter of life and death - after all, it's about a bunch of grown men in baggy shorts chasing after a leatherclad ball.  Think about the metaphysical implications of something as inconsequential as that.

I would like to say just a few things, to Blindbind and MSU, you guys say I have been ice cold lately? Have you even payed attention? The two weeks prior to all-star break were my best all season...today was my first significant loss in a while. And first this week.

I don't really think I have to defend myself since I never claimed to be a great capper, on the contrary actually, I know I play too much, I know I have a very amateur betting system but I don't cap and post for sorry ass tailors like msu, blindbind and hopingtowin, I cap for the guys bolded above who actually know the NBA and look for my input in order to help them with their own picks.  Not that you care msu but today I hit the Cavs and Princeton gamble, never played the Griz/Cavs ML Parlay.  Chased 6 units with the Lake Show 3rd Q and hit all but one teaser so my total loss was 10 units today.  I have had days where I have lost way more then a g. Today is the day you decide to come out and play MSU?  You obviously are a lying sack of shit, you tailed the Griz play and lost...you're right, not a good play on my part.  But I thought the Denver and Dallas picks were legit.

You are right it's a free country, you can say what you please when you please.  But a call out thread like this is a box movement and you know it, I am sorry you tailed me and lost the Griz bet.  My sincerest apologies to you, I got a nice winner for you on Saturday, happy tailing brother.

a few  things i've learned from betting on humans and horses.

NEVER BACK THEM 2 TIMES IN A ROW unless you've exhausted all other options.

if they do you a favour and win, most times they'll fuck you the next time, and you'll resent them

and if they fuck you and lose, then bet them next time and they generally win.

if they fuck you twice, dump them and avoid them for a while and look elsewhere.

you'd be surprised how often these simple rules can save your ass from a loss,

that way you don't resent teams like DENV losing to CHIC after they beat PHIL last game.

likewise MEMP covered vs PORT , so the chance of them covering vs SACR laying -7 was always gonna be tough.


Mak posts nightly, with good write ups, and most pro's usually take the favs laying the chalk cause it's hard to take the inferior team...

Mak, with all due respect... dont stoop to his level, seriously, be an adult (again, with all due respect). People look much better by just doing the right thing and ignoring people with no class, or that dont treat you with respect.

To celebrate Tiger Woods return next week, lets use him as an example. If you dont like Tiger Woods, just pick any other super sucessful person in life and try to model yourself after them.  So, the next time you want to get in a confirtation with an idiot (honestly, what good can come out of it), just ask yourself, what would Tiger do?

i have to say, this thread (by MSU) is the worst thread i've seen yet on Covers, and that really says a lot!

i support very few (almost none) of the frequent posters on Covers... but Mak is, without a doubt, one of the most consistent and solid NBA cappers (if not the most consistent) on these forums... to call him out for one bad night is fucking pathetic...

MSU... YOU lost your money... NOT Mak... now get the fuck out!
