Jorge Polanco was making solid contact all night long. I knew that if he didn’t take the walk, he was going to make whatever contact his team needed with the bases loaded and less than two out.

Tigers would’ve won 2-1 if Tarik Skubal had been allowed to mow down three more batters in the 7th.

He’s not some kid whose young arm they need to protect. Skubal is 28 years old!

He may be a heck of a human being, but the Tiggers can't go on with Spencer Torkelson's weak ass bat in the lineup.

@ papamo you know before you make a stupid outrageous statement about Spencer Torkelson he is one of the best defensive First Basemen in the American League. Now lets take a look at his weak ass bat. Team stats OPS 2nd   Hrs. 2nd    Runs 2nd    BA 4th    RBI's 2nd     and hits 3rd. Yeah pretty weak ass bat all right.  Tigers get rid of that weak ass bat ASAP.

Skubal is as good as it gets right now… I’d lean that way if I were leaning… ……..if…..detroit  bats show up… they will be a hard out.  My 2 cents.
