Nice write-ups......but I believe you're on the wrong side

if i wasn't convinced before i am now hell of a write up. looks like we're looking for a game like the navy game the other week, no passes obviously thats not going to happen, but i'm hoping for JP to have numbers like roethlisberger did his rookie year, 14/19 with 2 tds. bama's run game will be their passing game, if they can't open up the pass with the run i don't like our odds. but watching this offensive line in recent weeks i just can't imagine anyone stuffing their run.

also i know you've stated this but this may only be the 2nd time this year meyer and the gators get outcoached. Saban is a very smart HC and will not try to beat them with repeated passes, or pull something like the cross field lateral USC tried to get away with. looking forward to the conclusion of this novel

good think florida isn't #2.

Coaching: I dont really think that either team has an advantage in this department...both Urban and Nick are great coaches with proven track records.

Defense: Bama has a great D, but dont underestimate the Florida D. they are very fast and are great tacklers. also, they have a "nose" for the ball and great instincts when jumping routes and reading the opposing QB. both D's are very good imo. Bama does have the statistical edge though.

Ball Control: Ball control is great, but wouldnt u just rather be getting it in the endzone early and often instead? thats what florida has been doing all year, moreso in the latter parts of the season. Ya, grinding down the D and keeping the Florida O off the field is great and very important, but ultimately u better get in for 6 because thats whats gonna win u the game. I think both teams D will slow down the other's O but i just dont seeing Bama having 12 play 80 yrd drives eating up clock all game.  I do see some short TD drives from Florida though.

but i did try to give a fair, unbiased oppinion. I def think FLA wins this game but those 10 points do look very appealing.....

Im not saying that ur play is bad, or going to lose, but i do really think that Florida has the edge and will win this game. I could really care less about the spread and will not be betting this game.

"#1 is getting points", that should make u step back and think for a moment....are u going to take every ranked team that catches points against an unranked team??  if u did that this year u would have lost about 75% of those bets...10 points is a shitload though and i cant blame u for grabbing those, seems like a steal now, but when the game is over it might not....or it might still feel like a steal....who knows, cant wait for the game...gonna be so sick!

It is amazing FSU scored - because they are average at best. Beating the crap out of FSU doesn't make you unbeatable. Good yes but not unbeatable. Coach Z is the best coach in the game hands down.

Bib I think you are spot on here...make Tebow throw and you win. He is the only Tight End in the NCAA trying to play QB.

My only concern is it looks like Harvin is going to play. I heard he is Probably not questionable.

Beating FSU at their place is more impressive than beating a bad Auburn team at home.

Nice write up.  I think Harvin will be the key to a Fla win or loss but either way I think Bama + pts is the play.  I like Bama's ability to run the ball and limit turnovers.  This is going to be a hell of a matchup with two of the best coaches in college footballs.

Nice write up, but I will take Florida on this one, by maybe 2 touchdowns... 42 - 20 Florida.

I can't believe this line, 9.5 bjamaica. Alabama will win this!!! When you here the local news anchor say he would risk his entire 401k on this game, you know it's good.

Just a great writeup whether a person likes Fla or Bama!I am leaning towards Bama!

FYI, the line moved back to -10 this am so I put two units on 'bama.   Waiting to see if it might even go higher before playing more.

Bibendi, the writeups are great, but I think you should make it a blog post on your own covers space page.  Not that it shouldn't be in a thread also, it should.   But you put so much work into it, if I were you I would post it as one big blog post -- if you can fit it all.  

as a florida fan, i commend you on this one...your analysis of how to beat them is spot on...to this point in the season, there's only been one team that's stuck to the formula and had the personnel to execute that game plan...and even they needed some help to pull it off (3 turnovers by UF, first 3 turnovers of the year)...you are absolutely right bama is built for this game...because there are alot of teams who might figure out how to beat florida, but they dont have the people to do it...bama is the lesser team at QB, skill players, defensive backs, and linebackers...however, the areas that will win the game are O-line and D-line, and they have the edge in both of those...just like Ole Miss, they will need some help though...even if the O-line is doing the job, Urban may put 8 in the box and force JPW to beat him, which will not happen...and even if their D-line is doing the job, they are very skilled, but not very deep...so if bama were to have a quick turnover or some 3-and-outs...florida has the skill players to make a big play if theyre up against a defense that is out of breath and on their heels...saban is an absolute beast...he knows how it has to be done...its just a question of whether or not his kids can go out and do it...outstanding analysis and i hope u get ur win ATS and i get my win SU
