you play the dog and under in one parlay and the fav and over in the other one.  only on games where the spread is 40% or higher of the total on the game.

Penn St./Temple :  Take Penn st. -29 and Over 54 in one parlay
                            Take Temple +29 and Under 54 in other parlay
 
Wyoming/BYU  :    Take BYU -28 and Over 51.5 in one parlay
                            Take Wyoming +28 and under 51.5 in another
 
Eastern Mich./Maryland:    Take Maryland -21.5 and Over 52
                                        Take EMU +21.5 and Under 52
 
Buffalo/Mizzou:       Take Buffalo +33 and Under 71.5
                             Take Mizzou -33 and over 71.5
 
TCU/SMU  :            Take TCU -24 and over 51

just take the total points times .40 to get the magic number.
 
ex.  total points on game is 60 x .40 = 24...so as long as the spread is 24 or higher then the game fits the system.
 
why doesnt everyone on her list the online book they use that DOES NOT take these plays then it will narrow down the search for one that does.  If the online book still takes them after the rest stopped a couple of years ago then most likely they dont care.  Believe me, they know about these plays.

so there are 7 games this weekend/ 14 total parlays
 
$50 better risk loosing $700 if all 14 plays loose
if all 14 parlays hit $525
 
$50 better / 50parlay on fav/over & dog/under both loose -$100
one win and one loose you collect $75
 
2 team parlays pay 2.5 times  ( 50 x 2.5 = 125) -50 for the loosing parllay,,, you walk away with $75 profit

BYU: -28.5, TTL=51.5 vs. WYO
MARY: -22, TTL=52 vs. EMU
MIZZOU: -33.5, TTL=71.5 vs. BUF

2 of the 3 books I use online take this, and the other one the TTL's are not out yet, but I believe it will take them as well.  And if not, try what someone said, and use 2 books, one for winners (or fav/over), and the other for dogs, and switch it if your doing good every 3 games or so, to keep $ in both accounts, if this system works (I am not doubting it), I am trying it this weekend.  My ? is what about some of these TTL's that are 70 or so, is there a cap on the TTL for this type of bet?  Thanks for the info though..

So here is a way to BEAT the system..
 
Use 2 books, online or local--lose on 1 and collect w/ the other..Just make sure the lines are exactly the same..

hello all, 

I am new to this site and reading the 1/3 total vs point spread system sounds pretty good...but what if a fave team blown out the other team and went under....example week 3  Tennessee -33 vs UAB, total 60.5. The final score Tenn 35 UAB 3.  All i am saying is that just be carefull to pick the right teams...pick underdog that can score to fit the sytem......

Has anyone tracked this over the season so far?  My local will definitely take these bets.  haha

The problem is most books wont let you do a same game parley if it fits the system, let alone a parley the other way.  I just tried to take Penn st and the over and it would not let me at BetUs.

My local lets me, buy points at halftime lines, parlay a game with the game's half, etc....He'll let me parlay a team and the total!

Bookmaker won't let you parlay Penn State - Temple at all.  Scrach them off the list.
