He probably has another filter which allows for a play with 1 of the 3 against other conference.
Bos played at MIA CHAR SA OKLC.
The game against Mia was emailed as a v2 play. Then according to the rules Char was a v2 play. It just happened to be Bos won and covered against both Mia and Char.
That is the only way I see Bos being a v2 play with games at Was Chi and Mem.
Best of Luck

Its Just A Mistake:
Congrats on yet another easy v2.0 NBA winner with Golden State!
We're completely undefeated so far this NBA season with my v2.0 system!
As a customer of my NBA v2.0 system, I want to send you a reminder
of our upcoming NBA v2.0 betting series:
[A] 12/10/09 Boston Thu @ Washington
[b] 12/12/09 Boston Sat @ Chicago
[C] 12/14/09 Boston Mon @ Memphis
Note: Boston has the best road record. This increases the risk for
your wager.
This means that you would make the [A] wager for the road team on
the left on the date that the game is played. Remember to purchase
3 points for the team you're betting on.
Email response from Lan Tan:
Got an e-mail from JM when I questioned only 1 opponent in the 3 games being cross-conference instead of 2 per V2 rules and he said it was a "mistake but he assures me it's still a very good series to bet on".
No downside for JM if we lose....so don't blindly follow this one

That's strange - I have all of JM plays and he had Xavier (NCAAB), Atlanta (NBA) and San Diego (NFL) - and No hockey - where are you getting all those plays? He did go 3-0 though

How about starting your own thread Jorge Margalhanes ? rather than post off topic plays in these threads.
What are you trying to prove?

I had Det+5.5 but can only buy 2 points so ended up +7.5 and a loss .
Here is old JM's email for v1
Congrats on another sweet night of bets! Detroit narrowly escaped,
while Utah easily dismantled their opponent!
I do want to note to you that for the Detroit game, the spread
varied anywhere from +4 to +5.5. With the 3-point purchase, you
could have won, pushed, or lost on your wager. In today's game, the
later during the day that you made your bet, the likelier it was
for you to grab the spread at +8.5 after buying 3 points. If you
made your bet earlier during the day, you would have either lost or
pushed on your bet if you caught the spread at +8 or below after
buying the points. The bet, however, was a narrow win under the
+5.5 closing line and this series is considered closed. There is an
optional bet for Detroit on 8/16 when they play against Oklahoma in
their 3rd game if you wish to take advantage of that wager. Let me
tell you: it definitely looks like a good bet to make! :)
