Take a chance on the Yankees at -140 or -1.5 at +135.
At this point, you have to really ask yourself if a V2 situation comes up, does that really mean you should increase your normal bet?
Remember, the San Fran series that just lost was a V1 that lost on the A and B, and then was a V2 on the C. And it lost, so not only did people lose the normal A and B, if they "doubled up or more" on the C wager at the high odds that it was, they REALLY GOT BURNED.
So, don't let a V2 status give you a false-sense of security on wagering. Especially on the shitty cubs.
Just my opinion.

The Cubs absoultely suck. Hope nobody did a V2 sized bet on this game. And yet another series that will be heading to a C bet. And will probably lose.
This year is starting out rough.

don't know about in backtesting, but this would have a loss this year also. PIT swept cincy, then were swept by cincy in their next meeting. This season is f ing crazy and I hate the cubs with a passion. I can't imagine them sweeping anyone for the remainder of the year. If the books are going to keep inflating their lines I am going to play against them every series.

F it. I am taking Pittsburgh tomorrow on the ML.
I hope the Cubs get swept again. They F'n stink. Why did I even bet game 1 antway? Smitler's post on that was dead-on, and I still made the A bet anyway.
Nice wins though with Tampa V3 A win, and Houston unofficial B win.

ahh yes I forgot we are supposed to buy the runs so we can always suck the juice for JM....

Ok, after reading Kreature's write-up over in his thread on the Runline Blitz, I'm gonna take the Cubs -1.5 runs to get the juice down.
So, I am gonna go with the numbers and against my gut and not take the Pittsburgh ML after all.

Good luck NM, I hope Kreatture is right. Still trying to decide myself, I only played game 1 so may just bet to recover that....

It figures. Both my gut and K's picks were losers.
The only correct picks would have been pitt RL or Cubs ML.
I need a break and a 10 game A bet winning streak.

Sahlsa, I see you have the Padres 2 game series on your calendar, but not today's Sanfran at San Diego's 2 gamer.
Just wanted to point that out for record keeping purposes, and to alert players to that series starting tonight if they want to play the short series.
I am gonna take San Fran tonight and tomorrow if need be.
Thanks for your efforts on the schedule updates.

Do you mean as far as how it will affect the next time they play their 3 game series? I would assume that it would be a no play b/c San Fran won one.
However, I would personally still be looking to take San Fran to win 1 of those games.
