he Blues are more than deserved favourites back at home where they will be hoping to close out the series. There is no doubt that they have the dominant forward pack, and should once again run roughshod over the Maroons. But the inclusion of Slater and Thurston simply can’t be underestimated. The Blues should win, but from a punting point of view, a Maroons side with Slater, Thurston, Cronk, and Smith is value any time they are outsiders.
