I'm still not decided.. but I got 2  small parlays  cans -9.5 and brumbies +23.5 each 1.50..

I want to go big parlay but not yet decided..

tough weekend behind us but hey no-one can be up every week right?



Hur -17.5 (perenara resting but still on the bench and a crazy strong backline announced)
War -20.5 (don't think kings will be able to pull it back on week 3 on tour like the reds let them off. foley & horne back and they need bonus points to catch the brumbies)
Lio -12.5 (good team announced, hungry lions at home and jags been touring poorly and i got in early when 12.5 was still available)
Cru -14.5 (team news well in favour of the crusaders, step du toit out of position on the flank, malherbe not playing, SP Marais injured)
Chi -13.5 (chiefs need some bonus points)
Che +6.5 (bulls always struggle against the cheetahs at loftus, and this year cheetahs stronger plus bulls weaker than past years)
Reb +15.5 (great backline for the rebels and feel they are starting to hit their straps plus the humidity at kingspark not really allowing big scores)

staying out of the sunwolves game as I just don't know what to make of them.

probably just cursed the canes there too with my first pick, as I'm currently on a 5 round losing streak on first-game-of-the-weekend picks

Hurricanes win by 21 - 30 @ 3/1. Just have a feeling they will put on a bit of a show this week - both offensively (goes without saying) and defensively.
Will blame Steiner if the Canes don't deliver 

Lions -13. (Just found some still available in UK). Agree with Brent in the preview that they should hold too many guns for the Jags, who have won just 1 from 11 away from home.

Force +16.5. I seem to be against the majority on this game. Rennie has named a strong Chiefs team but its worth noting that 1st choice props Laulala and Hames are both missing. The Force scrum hasn't been too bad - so could cause the Chiefs some problems. Chiefs being a bit tired from a long tour and the warm/humid conditions expected in Perth also suggest to me that this might be a bit closer than expected.

Highlanders v Wolves. Will look to get involved in the Total Points - Away Team when available, depending on price. (Had a small interest in Wolves to score less than 10.5 points last week vs Crusaders, @ 2.5/1).
Thanks to Couch Critic who suggested the "Win to nil" last week which led me to the above bet.
I quite like this option as even if the Wolves manage 3 points early (which they did last week) and a converted try, the bet will still come

 Some tough calls getting the scores in the right place. The ‘Canes average 50 points per game@ home (for) and only 16 against. The Brumbies average 19 points per game away and only 16 (against)

Raiders - They’re on a roll after a slow start and I can’t see it stopping on Friday night, but the Sea Eagles could give them a hard time considering their second half last week.

Broncos –Even though they’re playing away from home, I don’t think the Rabbitohs are a threat. Having said that, the Rabbitohs have proven me wrong before, so we’ll see.

I think this will come down to a home or away dymanic.
Had the match been in Dublin, I might just about have fancied Leinster who are much improved this season.

However with the match in France and Clermont both playing well and with the bit between their teeth in terms of finally delivering in Europe- I think they will have too much for Leinster. A little too much power up front, mixed with a bit too much craft along the backline.

Having just looked at Leinster's line up I see they are missing a few. O'Brien and Heaslip have joined Rob Kearney. the talented youngster Adam Byrne is also missing. Perhaps a Saracens Clermont final.

Considering team selections, I think the Sunwolves will be competitive for at least the first half and I'll therefore look to back them on a half time handicap. I thought long about the full time cap but I'm weary of the Chiefs pulling away once the subs come on.

The Chiefs have left heavy artillery on the bench in Messam, Lowe and Stevenson. Their starting team leaves much to be desired. The never was Stephen Donald in at 12? Also no Kerr-Barlow or Retallick at all.

Wolves picked a very decent side the only shaky one for me is Cripps at 10 who is a bit of a loose cannon.




Kings v Rebels - I think this bet is outstanding value and don't think price will last:

Kings more tries @ 22/10 

1. Total Kings tries this season = 27. Rebels = 9.
2. Kings last 3 games = 6, 5, 4 tries. Rebels = 2, 1, 0.
