Greetings, When last I posted I was -1712 on the season. I've managed to improve that a bit currently -1170. Believe it or not, I do some good with live tennis... generally playing favorites who are down in-match. Satisfies my morning itch. I have Zhang right now to win her match 2-0 @ +163. She's up 5-4 1st set. 

MLB, however has not been kind this season. I honestly don't see the Dodgers losing the series, based on the Dodgers of late... not necessarily looking at season stats. But it's the WS and who knows. So, for a gamble, I'm laying beer money on the Jays @ +135 G1. If they lose, I may do it again... not saying for sure, tonight may change my mind.

At any rate I'm not going to get to even this season...not betting beer money. So, I've relinquished my self-proclaimed title of Champion of Gambling Mediocrity until I do!

Update: After squandering a first set tie-break 5-1 lead, Zhang managed to win the first set 7-6 (7-5)... so keeping my fingers crossed!

@MrBator - Glad you got a chuckle  ...I chuckle at myself sometimes. The days of pulling my hair out are over, I still love to gamble but no more staring into the abyss after losing more than I ought to. I haven't gotten any better so I've stuck to beer money since I reappeared on Covers a few years ago.

@newmarket - I neglected to mention that's a moneyline parlay (though you probably gathered that from the payout), if you go with Cincinnati +11.5, I hope we both win! We we don't have a final on the Dodgers by kickoff, we will at least have a good read.

Greetings Coverites, Last time I posted I went 0-4... I stepped away for a day, and since have silently continued the skid.  Currently down -1712. As low as I have been this season. Betting beer money, I'm hoping to make a dent in that, but at any rate putting a limit of 2500. I'm looking at parlaying the Dodgers and the Steelers.. currently pays +124.

* - FWIW.. bounced around a bit as I was posting. I was playing @ -105, but it dipped to -101 as I submitted, now back to -104. 

I know a couple of things line up for the Tigers today, but the Mariners are going to lay down. I think Seattle ends it this afternoon. We will know soon enough... if Detroit gets to Miller early, this could be a bust.
