@collectNOW Yep, 49ers back in the day and, I lived off campus…wish I stayed closer for the night life, but man I would have never graduated. @Daran.T It’s horrible if you compare it to other local schools like UCI, CSUF, UCR etc. they’re suppose to rebuild the pyramid, but it’s been way long over due. |

Pepperdine +4.5 (LARGE) Pepperdine ML +158 (small) Long Beach alum, and this campus looks like crap…visited the campus a month ago and they have the same furniture as when I attended 20+ years ago. The pyramid stadium looks like it’s falling apart outside, and no new educational building expansion except for a new dorm…really? 20+ years of funding and that’s all this college can come up with? Proud alum but heavily Disappointed with the campus. What top recruit would want to play here after seeing what I saw? Prob one of the worst teams I’ve seen watching Beach ball. Pepperdine on the other hand have lost to some decent winning programs. 11 new players, but I do like the coach and campus better. As my kids would say, the Big West Conference is buns this years and Long Beach sits at bottom. $RKLB …20+ launches this year…2026 will be an even greater year |

Oregon 1H -11.5 (LARGE) Bullish on Oregon. Portland’s 3 wins are vs weak Big West teams. Ducks last 4/6 teams they’ve lost were KP top 50. Portland barely squeezed by Davis @ home 67-63…Oregon beat Davis 104-62. Top 3 of 4 scorers for Portland are Frosh….Ducks are loaded with Juniors/Seniors, plus they get Bittle back. Why 1H and not FG? Zags on deck. Possible look ahead game….I can’t imagine them keeping this game close early…get ahead fast, rest your starters in the 2H. $RKLB |

Couple other notes to add since I have some time… - Tenn played Duke in preseason, an we know Duke loves shooting the 3 ball effectively… little glimpse of what to expect tonight offensively imo… - Ament has a 7’1 wingspan. If Barnes doesn’t utilize his defensive length capabilities with shooters, then Barnes deserves to be canned . |

Boise State +2.5 (LARGE) St Mary’s is not the same as the prev years Gaels program, but I actually like Boise to make the same amount of noise as last year’s squad in the MW. Their bigs are well matched vs Gaels bigs. Only downfall is Andrews…hasn’t played well, but I know he’s more than capable of helping this team. Taking Boise at home… pretty tough to win here…
$RKLB to $70 by Friday.

Utah Valley -4.5 (LARGE) 11PST UCSB was my pick to win the Big West, but Mahaney is their leading scorer….Not a fan of him being a leading scorer as a solid transfer p/u. Would rather see him distribute than be the main offensive player. |

Texas Tech -1.5 (LARGE) 0900 PST. Arkansas interior defense stinks. Thinking Toppin should have a field day. Plus, Arkansas 2 loses were against 2 good defenses. Tech is #20 KP. Couple more Large plays incoming… $RKLB setting up nicely…Lambo soon

@TheLorenaKid Not surprised. Number seems high, but I have zero concerns. My guess are folks are buying into Miller’s close games vs Uconn LY. I think I’ve thought this through some… |

Adding: Cal Baptist/E Wash Under 153.5 (small) E Wash can run, but Baptist plays better defense than most. Baptist won’t want to run with this team if they want a win.

UConn -14 (LARGE) Texas looked appealing with Miller having coached in the BE last couple years, but after watching them play their last game, I just want to stab my eyes out. Offense is one dimensional, bigs are slow, team doesn’t play with any fire. Large number to cover, but I just can’t see Texas hang. $RKLB…healthy dip |

Iowa is tourney ready imo. I can already imagine them going deep into March on a neutral court… def a team with a ton of upside to upset a 1-2 seed… see you Saturday…

About 1/3 of the season in and here are my top 5 teams that I personally think could go deep into the tourney come March… 1. Duke… +900 2. Arizona…1000 4. Uconn…+900 5 Houston…+1400 Yep, left KP top 5 - Michigan, Iowa State, & Zags out of my top 5. We’ll see, but these 3 are peaking way too fast, and can soemhow picture them struggle by Feb/March.

Iowa Hawkeyes +12 (LARGE) 1H Iowa +6 (small) Iowa State is solid, but I think KP has them up too high. IMO, prev 2 years team have been better. They beat a soft Purdue team, and now they’re up there with Michigan and Duke? Both Michigan and Iowa State is trending up way too fast. Their SOS is also pretty soft (I know, so is Iowa’s), but Iowa plays a very meticulous 1/2 court game. Cyclones defense makes team play fast, and out of routine (aka vs Purdue)…I can’t imagine Iowa falling in the ISU game plan….veteran PG, players that don’t turnover the ball a ton….rolling with Stirtz and Co. $RKLB … Space X will be a trillion $ company next year’s IPO…$RKLB is way cheap. |

CSUN ML (LARGE) Northridge my sleeper team in the Big West. Fresno’s first road game, and CSUN plays well at home (3-0).

Georgetown +10.5 (LARGE) Tarheels defense is pretty bad to watch. I expect Hoyas to keep this game within reach with that soft interior presence. $RKLB

Tough environment, but solid win down the stretch…if they stay healthy, I can’t see any1 stopping this squad. KP has Zags over Duke is a complete joke. Seeing +900 for Duke to win the ship at some places…still solid imo…can see this drop 1/2 come March. Duke 2026 Ship
