@GriLo Russell Wilson in 2025 is not elite, in fact he's not even good anymore. I'd be more afraid of Dart, even Winston today... |

Going back to the same well here and backing the Cowboys for a second consecutive week. I really like this spot for the Cowboys today at home and I think it's being overlooked. I put out the question: How is NY is going to put up the 20 points (which lines up with the 44.5 total)? Dallas pressured Jalen hurts last week to the tune of 42%, effectively putting the game in Hurts' hands. Decent strategy, let the best player beat you. Russel Wilson however is no Jalen Hurts. The Commanders upped their pressure rate to 50% last week and, well we know how RW & Co. did... Decision making, quick release, pocket mobility is not there. We saw it last week... I'm going on that. I think Dak has a strong game, CeeDee somewhat redeems himself and the Dallas 'D' put enough pressure on Wilson to kill any charge the Giants are going to put forth on offense. The total tells me 27-17 type game and a chunk of that 17 for NY comes in garbage time. I don't see how Dallas doesn't beat these guys up today to the tune of 33-10. And something very small to add; it's a really small sample size but Dak is 2-0 ATS following an early season (pre-thanksgiving) TNF game. Dallas -5.5 GL All! |

Not that I like Dallas but specifically, the dog in the opening game. Looking back a decade, the visiting team has kept this game within a score 9 times out of 10. And it makes sense... A lot of pomp and hoopla with the home team, raising the banner, etc. The line has been creeping up the last two days and it's just a snowball rolling down a hill. No substance to it IMO. Give me the Cowboys, +8.5. GL All! |

Worth noting Sean Peyton is 0-2 SU in his two years as HC at Denver in week 1...

Couple of games I'm tracking... Let's look at that awesome rivalry game in the Steel City, I'm talking about Pitt vs Duquesne. Granted, there are no longer any surviving players, officials, reporters to get some insight here; not surprising since the last game between these two was in 1939. Talk about a gap between games... I think Pitt gets their revenge here in that epic 1939 loss and lays a complete beating on the FBS Dukes; I think the margin for Pitt will be north of 45 pts, could be past 50. It's like if Duquesne were playing a decent high school team... Pitt -38.5 Second, we'll and back another massive favorite in Penn St. A pre season favorite to win it all this year, I like this team a lot. Not much more to say other than Nevada may not put up more than 7 today, meaning my bet is that the mountain lions score 7+ times today. Penn St. -42.5 GL All! |

@CanadaCup
For an analogy you might understand, you're comparing Connor McDavid to a 5th rd pick in the recent 2025 NHL draft. There is absolutely no comparison between the Josh and Shadeur, and I will stand by that in 10 years. Allen will have a statue of himself outside the new stadium one day. Sanders will be another footnote in Browns history as a QB who came and left in a huff. You're talking to Browns fan now. It's insulting to Josh Allen to have SS's name mentioned alongside his, it should be insulting to you too. Sanders was ok last night as a likely 3rd stringer and I'll leave it at that. |

He's exhibiting tunnel vision, i.e. staring down his primary read waaaayyyy too long. Playing against high schoolers is not telling me anything. He'll have some snaps the final pre season game and I expect him to struggle badly by then. There's a reason he's currently 4th on the depth chart... |

Dan Quinn's pre season record is about as bad as it gets. 6-18. Vrabel on the other hand is a somewhat respectable 5-7. My theory here is New England will have guys playing hard-er because the team is weak to begin with and there are spots up for grabs. We're laying points with the Pats for a reason IMO. I just don't see WAS trying in this spot against a team they know stinks... NE -6.5, -115 |

Why does North Carolina suck so bad and what are they gonna do about it?
in College Basketball Public University. They're not going to open up their wallet to bring in players when their are thousands to choose from who will be happy with just the full ride. Changing the landscape in college ball. Alumni don't want to throw big money at because they won't see the player for more than a year. Go back to the old transfer portal rules. Shouldn't have your cake and be able to eat it too... |
