Colgate’s recents (respectable loss at Illinois, buzzer beater at Siena) inflate their rating a bit IMO given this is their 3rd road game in 6 days. Cornell is 13th in adjusted tempo, bombs away, and the 161 total tells me they’re easily live for 85+. If Colgate gets forced into a track meet, they need a hot shooting night on tired legs just to hang around. I see Colgate trying to drag things out but it will take a lot of discipline to do that and I kinda see that strategy working for only so long before it becomes a full on dust up which clearly favors Cornell. I make this closer to Cornell -11.
