Zelensky due time n Washington tommorow, Putin won't be at this meeting, Trump is moving towards a head of state treaty with Putin , Zelensky and he brokering a deal for lasting Peace. 

The future meeting site should be announced tomorrow as the flurry of diplomacy continues.

This would place him in history books as a peace broker, such as Theodore Roosevelt when then he brokered peace between Japan and Russia ending the conflict in Portsmouth NH....

And for the love of world peace keep jd Vance in his play pen .

At the very least get him some milk and cookies so he isn't cranky when the guests arrive.

The European delegation: French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Finnish President Alexander Stubb, and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will join Zelensky for the visit.

Well personally I think it went pretty well considering the alternative ! So Putin was welcomed like a frat brother ,I’d say the invaders got nearly everything they wanted and what they can think of later & in less than two hours and the Russians were on their way back home skipping Trump steaks for lunch…Smart move “ QVC Trump steaks bellied up “. By that time Trump was elated to have renewed his friendship with photo opp’s with his idol and the worlds #1 enemy. This gave the president plenty of time to spin and continues his propaganda that he is a Winner!….And get in the back 9 holes at home! ….How many presidents could have accomplished all that in a day ?

bilateral meeting between Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Vladimir Putin is something the Russian president has always resisted, urging for a list of conditions to be met first, but the possibility may now be nearer than ever.

Donald Trump said after the White House talks: “I called President Putin, and began the arrangements for a meeting, at a location to be determined, between President Putin and President Zelenskyy. After that meeting takes place, we will have a Trilat, which would be the two presidents, plus myself.”

According to the German chancellor, Friedrich Merz, Putin told Trump in a call during Monday’s White House meeting that he was ready to meet Zelenskyy “within the next two weeks”. For his part, Zelenskyy reiterated on Monday that he was ready for talks with Putin.

Merz and the Finnish president, Alexander Stubb, both offered some pointed language on the topic, saying in separate press conferences that it remained to be seen if the Russian president had the “courage” to go ahead with the meeting. Stubb said: “Putin is rarely to be trusted.”

So far, the Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov has said only that Putin and Trump discussed the idea of “raising the level of representatives” at Ukraine talks. Ushakov, in his comments late on Monday, did not specify what he meant by raising the level at meetings, and did not address the possibility of a trilateral meeting between the leaders.

The Trump-EU meeting might have been the first time I have seen Trump act reasonably and humanely  That was fucking nice for a change (I can easily live with the fact - that IQ wise he was like a toddler compared to the rest there)

I thought I must have misheard when he thanked the media. What the hell? Where did you get this AI robot? And where did you hide the real Donald Trump? That's what I want to know! And blink twice if you're in danger. 

Putin demands for Ukraine:

1. Give up all of Donbas

2. No NATO membership, ever

3. No Western troops in Ukraine

I think all this is fair.

1. Donbas has always been largely Russian. And as it is currently occupied, it's probably just about all Russian now.

2. Joining NATO....well, let's say you live in a crip hood. It's your prerogative if you want to join the bloods. Is it smart though? Does it make your family safer?

3. Could you imagine if Russia wanted to stockpile troops and artillery in Cuba? Would we let that slide?

Frankly, I don't give a shit about Ukrainians or Russians. My wife is like 25% Russian. She has absolutely zero connection to Russian culture. Like none. I am Nationalistic if I am anything. All I care about is keeping American dollars safely in the till and American service men and woman safe, stateside, with their families.

Donbas has longed for Soviet times because back then they were an important player and they have kind of been forgotten by the Ukrainian rule - so they preferred Russian rule over a Ukrainian facing the west - that doesn’t make them Russian ! but  this question is one that is relevant for all former Soviet unions then and with that logic you could legitimise a Russian attack on all of them - and then you are dismissing the main point here - if you want to help people make them vote to change side or be independent don’t go into a 3.5 year war killing 10.000 civilians and innocent children in the process - if you don’t care about either side you shouldn’t be speaking to be honest 

Donbas has not only long had many actual Russians but many of the Ukrainians in the region have had Russian sympathies. As far as the former Soviet Union,

1) Many former Soviet states aren't as related to Russia ethnically as Ukrainians are. Turkmenistanians, for example, though under the umbrella of Russian influence, are not a Slavic people.

2) Ukraine shares a large border with Russia, and is strategically located.

3) Frankly, Russia doesn't have the capability to occupy/annex any other former Soviet states, outside of Ukraine, Belarus, and that's probably it. They have their hands full with Ukraine as is.

Oh, and as far as not speaking on people's I have no care for, i'll stop speaking on the Russian/Ukrainian conflict when you stop speaking on America.

I didn't come in right after 9/11, Columbine or whatever - telling you I couldn't care less - first of all I did actually care (I can easily care for people or stuff that don't affect me personally - and I know most of you guys can too ) - and sure you can speak on what you want - that is just your own morale compass and what kind of human you want to be (there is a difference between you not thinking about it daily etc. and you NOT caring) - I just said what would be "normal" to do in that situation

 Not caring is strong wording. I'm not a monster. I care about senseless loss of life, wherever it occurs. I don't care for, or I am disillusioned with, all the geopolitical fairytales. I don't care for my government using foreign nations in proxy wars whose soul purpose is funneling dollars towards defense contractors. I'm tired of the comic book narrative that Russia is our most dangerous enemy. As if they pose some threat. Meanwhile China is right there, our actual biggest threat, and they've already got us beat. So yeah, I don't care. I'm over all of it. I feel bad for the Ukrainian people but my heart doesn't bleed for them. They're no more our friends than Russia is our enemies.

Negotiations have become intense as the coalition of the willing partners devise a way forward without Putin cooperation.

Putin allied with Kim un in this offensive.

As well as Iran and China for hard ware.

Does Europe unleash magnetic wave to disrupt every heart beat near Russian occupy territory. Literally we can end war in 8 minutes.....

History shows bargaining with authoritarian countries has a high risk of failure.  Mistake to assume appeasing dictators is a path to peace.  Putin has a history of betraying peace agreements and cannot be trusted.  He won't be satisfied until the old soviet union is restored to former glory.  That is why experts say the best policy is to fully support Ukraine war.
