Polls show most Americans oppose all military action in Venezuela. For examples, strikes on drug boats and overthrow of Maduro. Trump imperialism is more unpopular than his big ugly bill.

Trump Donroe doctrine is predatory imperialism to create a dystopian world dominated by 3 autocracies. US, Russia and China.

you idiots over there are just pissing your pants to keep the heat for a few minutes - with no long term plan in mind --- Americans as we know them ![]()
Why were you offended as an American ? Is it wrong what I said?
First of all you don't offend me, rather you humor me. I don't take stock in your opinion so, sorry, I am not offended.
What it wrong what you said? I think so. Nobody here is pissing their pants for heat. We have government programs to help those that can't afford it. And most are not idiots here. Although some dem run states are following EU's lead to higher energy costs due to over dependence on renewables, overall we are fine.
If you want to throw insults, no problem I can do the same. Would rather have adult conversations.
Do find it interesting other member here pointing out I insulted Germany and not a peep of your "Americans are idiot clowns pissing their pants". What's that tell ya?

I like the videos of Schumer in 2019 saying Trump had done nothing to stop Maduro and now he screams it was illegal. Biden set the tone last January declaring Maduro an illegit president and 25 mil bounty. Other dems like Chris Van Hollen, Chris Murphy, all saying Maduro needs to go and now screaming when we did it without one casualty. Too funny.

Guess that's the first criminal Venezuelan dems don't want in our country.

Before WW2 every major empire was either in Europe or Asia - most of them in Europe - which maybe was part of the reason you demilitarised us - it can seem pretty scary being the pussies in that exchange - your grandparents were the people that couldn’t handle life over here

Trump be thuggin'
The fact that there are both happy and upset Venezuelan's tells me this was the right decision....it is exactly like America, COVERS and Social Media....changes, issues, decision making does affect all, but will never make all happy or all unhappy.....some Venezuelans feel liberated and free from this man, while others are disgusted and outraged by it....
This is not a one sided landslide that this was the wrong decision to make to remove this man, so.......

@ABooksNightmare
That is very broad generalization.
Yes, there are a few that did not like it. You have some Maduro loyalists that are outspoken. But the vast majority fully support what happened -- and it is not close. However, there is still suppression of their voices in place there. This is still a transition period that they are not used to.
You can go back and look at the polls done back in the summer. A majority were saying that Maduro would likely fall within the next few months. They saw his power weakening from this pressure put on by the USA. Nearly 3/4 of them supported a policy from the USA that would oust him.
Where I am there are a lot of 'illegals' or 'refugees' that are from Venezuela. They are overjoyed and even crying when talking about it. Many are already trying to make plans to go back and unite with family that was not able to leave.
Not one single person I know from there is unhappy about it.
But when you cannot feed yourself or your children it changes your perspective.
Sure, there are some folks that 'benefited' from supporting Chavez and Maduro and some were 'surviving' well enough to not complain.
But to say that some were happy and some are upset is not fair. The majority are happy.

US military operation is illegal because it lacked United nations approval or Venezuelan consent and did not constitute self defense.
"UN, you know what you should do if you don't like that? Sanction me. Sanction me with your army. Wait, what!? You don't have an army? Then you know what you should do? Shut the fk up. Shut. The. fk. up."

Question to the Commander in Sleep: “Did you speak with the oil companies before the operation? Did you tip them off?"
Answer: "Before and after. They want to go in and they’re going to do a great job.”
TOTAL BULLSHIT!
Oil executives claim these alleged conversations did not take place.

@nature1970
Realistically what can engage America to stop this....
Who is to say American foreign policy is to “stop” those other major players from aligning their respective regions in their strongest / most formidable way possible?
Secretary of State Marco Rubio declared that the Western Hemisphere is a core U.S. strategic area, and said President Trump will not allow threats from drug cartels, Iranian proxies, or hostile regimes to take root in the region—underscoring the administration’s aggressive stance on security following its actions in Venezuela and broader efforts to safeguard the hemisphere
Many recognized the importance to shift away from the old globalized model of the world during covid. The shift began years ago.
@Calde13
You are trying to isolate yourself in a globalized world - that is the problem !
See above. Yesterday’s globalized world is dead. We are living in a new world order.

Couple of key components missing here in all of this. Not just oil in this region, but massive amounts of gold. Not just that, but untapped gold. One of the most affluent Latin American countries in the entire region. This is not some podunk place.
One other factor here, to me, is that any nukes located in this region, should our enemies decide to do so, would leave America vulnerable to attack in just about 30 minutes time. That is not enough time to react should this tactic be deployed. Not advantageous to the Americas. Cuban Missile Crisis anyone????? Not saying this is the case, but it's not out of the realm of possibility that we have such a vested interest in what is or is not happening there with their corruption/fraud.
As always, there are things the public is not aware of. Full disclosure may not always be best. If this is in any of the decision making, then good for doing this. It not only helped some of the people of the region, but also could have benefited the Americas in other ways. I'm not saying there is any evidence of any nuclear activity, but it's not like Venezuela was our ally and in bed with the US, but rather quite the contrary. It is in bed with our enemies. I'm just throwing out a theory. There is definitely more of a reason this happened than what it is being lead out to be. It certainly isn't drugs, but that is what the public can make sense of so throw it out there?

No sir. They used to be. They are, by far, the least affluent country in SA. In all of LA the only countries worse are Honduras and Haiti.
Its is very much a 'podunk' place nowadays.
Women barter milk for diapers with other women. Folks cannot eat. People do not flee a country because they are hungry and it not be a 'podunk' country.
Maybe you are thinking of Guyana.

This is typical dem MO.
Ask two questions;
1. Did you talk to oil companies before or after the operation? (You left out after Midnight)
2. DId you tip them off?
Trump: Both.
Dems; Trump tipped off the oil companies he was going in to get Maduro!!! ![]()
Dems; Trump lied as oil execs say they weren't tipped off!! ![]()
What probably really happened.....Trump before the operation, maybe months ago: Oil companies, if there were a regime change in Venezuela would you be willing to reinvest there?

I think much more than oil. China has infiltrated South America pretty heavily. Panama Canal, Brazil, and Venezuela. Time to push back, set an example to the rest of SA. It would be great if we could steer Venezuela back to a prosperous democratic country. But with our polarized flip-flopping nation will be very hard to do.

I know your side is trying to rewrite history just like they are doing today regarding the government takeover attempt on this date in 2021.
Maybe months ago Dipshit Donnie talked with oil executives on this matter? Or maybe it was during his 1st administration? I try to deal with facts not probabilities especially when it comes to this POS lying bastard
You keep falling for his lies. What oil companies are willing to invest billions in an unstable environment proposed by an unstable President? He has created another mess that will have to be fixed by his predecessor.
A hundy says this fucktard won't finish his 2nd term in office. Are you in or out?
