Btw why do you keep referring to Europe like it was a country ? Together with Africa we are the most densely populated continent on earth with no close competitor - and we range from countries that easily own you in quality of life for some - to some countries assembling Africans standards
Don't mention the frogs - we don't want to scare the toddler - we want him to sleep

If in doubt what this mean try investigate how we handled covid19 compared ! Our system can fucking track if you farted on someone while being infected - yours can hardly track close relatives

JFKjr is literally insane - he wants to use Denmark as your standard now - this will not go well
Problem is that Kennedy policy is based on anti-vaccine ideology instead of scientific evidences. Myth is that US is over vaccinated. Most rich countries vaccinate children against 12-15 diseases. Denmark is unique exception because of superior ability to identify everyone at risk. However many Americans lack access to healthcare. So US must put more emphasis on disease prevention rather than management. Good policy is protecting children against a broader set of diseases. But Kennedy policy would put more children at risk.

Because you yourself have said you can travel freely anywhere in Europe just like we do state to state. And you are in a union of Europeon countries. A judge outside of your country has just ruled on your getto laws. You are not autonomous. Add to the fact one can easily search Europeon measles cases and numbers are promptly provided. Search North America measle cases and it's broken down by country.
And we too have states have great qualities of life and those that appear to be mismanaged 3rd world idiots.

EU and Europe isn't the same thing - EU function a lot like a "country" (with the biggest integrated market in the entire world and free movement etc. - but EU is primarily an economical institute - that defines what each country monetary policies are) and the free movement part is something that is exclusive to the "Schengen area" - while Europe is my continent - just like Canada is part of your continent - so saying Europe numbers of measles would make as much sense as if you combined Canada and yours and said that was your numbers

I find your comment comical.Unlike a lot of diseases COVID-19 easily passed from human to animal and animal to human. No one talks about it. The claim was/is the risk is very low, more studies need to be done. Tracking humans was helpful but never the complete answer. Your cat, dog, squrriel in the yard could give you COVID.
Case in point. Early during the pandemic the State of Iowa said they found COVID anti-bodies in 30% of the wild deer population they tested. Wild animals in the woods that were exposed to COVID. So the State Head Vetrinarian says it must be infected hunters discarding chewing tabacco that the deer then lick. I kid you not!!
So how do deer in the wild get exposed to COVID??? A lack of social distancing with humans or maybe failure to wear a mask?
Notice when you read about dogs and cats they say, Oh, those we found infected were in close contact with infected humans. What about those wild animals??????
Virginia; Researchers tested animals from 23 common Virginia species for both active infections and antibodies indicating previous infections. They found signs of the virus in deer mice, Virginia opossums, raccoons, groundhogs, Eastern cottontail rabbits, and Eastern red bats. The virus isolated from one opossum showed viral mutations that were previously unreported and can potentially impact how the virus affects humans and their immune response.

@Uniman - RFKjr isn’t the main reason you have a measles outbreak now - but that doesn’t mean he is doing the right thing ! If you had all been vaccinated the chance of you getting measles at all would be miniscule - that those that are hit now is due to people not getting vaccinated under corona in big enough numbers - shouldn’t deteriorate the argument how stupid it is to not vaccinating people - I am against discussing on a false pretends - so you don’t have to thank me for pointing that out - but for me the reason isn’t important if RFKjr suggestion is to keep going down the path that led you here - then you will just get hit by the consequences of his bad policies in a year or two
I see it as a Ying/Yang thing. So RFKjr suggests a conservative Denmark approach and right away you here "can't work!", "USA more diverse", etc. Well, if certain races require more or less why isn't that being done now? All I see is generalizations.
Appears RFKjr fears autism rise could be associated with some vaccinations. And that we take too many claims of safety for granted. The fact is this occurred with the COVID vaccine just makes it that more plausable. I would like to see more studies on it myself. We should scrutinize the vaccines a little more. So everything done so far is not crazy harmful like the Trump haters try to say.
And as far as measles is concerned, you said it, COVID disruptions caused a drop in vaccinations not RFKjr appearing on the scene of "anti-vaxers" as measles had already run through Europe in 2024 and then surged in North America this year. And we have small religous groups that shun vaccinations too and we give them thd freedom to do so.

So let's see, Europe as a whole represents 738 million people with 127,350 measles cases 2024. Thats one measles case per 5,795 residents.
European Union represents 450.4 million people and had 35,212 cases of confirmed measles 2024. That's one measles case per 12,791 residents.
The United States represents 348 million people and has 2,012 confirmed measle cases this year. That is one measles case per 172,962 residents.
And someone found it necessary to blame anti-vaxers in the US for this outbreak. I won't even post our neighbors Canada and Mexico's numbers, already did.

I would say it is primarily because we are way better at tracking disease spread than you are and we have universal healthcare - I would say those two differences is the main reason you shouldn’t follow our example — during COVID - I got notified by SMS within hours if I had been nearby anyone that had later been found to be infected - and we also have way more trust in government etc. so if we are told to jump - we ask how high - where you guys make everything an argument - “I don’t want to wear mask because fuck you - whiney whiney whine”

Nationwide, flu cases surge to highest level in 30 years according to Center for disease control data. Overwhelming hospitals in some states. Health secretary Kennedy should be encouraging more people to be vaccinated instead of reducing vaccination schedule for children. Vaccine prevention of disease is better than hospitalization.

So damn true. Something as simple as wearing am mask make magas cry like little bitches, like its the end of the world. Certain groups of people in our country got to argue about everything, because truthfully i believe these people just like to argue.
People here no longer believe in science, instead they believe in you tubers and pod casters with zero medical backgrounds.
Kennedy is gonna kill peoples kids and these people whose children die will have nobody to blame but their stupid ignorant asses. We all would be alive on this planet if it wasnt for all of us get vaccinated as kids, but hey some you tuber knows more then the doctors and scientists.

I am actually really mind boggled by this because they really couldn’t have chosen a worse country trying to copy than Denmark - we are literally nothing alike - this could end so badly you don’t even realise if they go through with this - some of these diseases are so contagious - they will demand so much care and isolation - they might very well put such a strain on your system - that your entire medical system collapses
