CD Newsletter Week 10

Word has come in that BR will be handling week 10's newsletter with assistance from my far superior copy and pasting and explicit bolding,,,,,,,,,

If you have a complaint, check in with titus (the piglet) who is the self appointed mascot of the box apparently...not sure anyone from PBox Nation knew we had a mascot but apparently he loves all of you more than he likes not being bacon....

The newsletter had a better week last  week, also the 2 bonus bets, unlv/n.mexixo over and the tenn/okie over both w's,,,also the multi unit max eggroll double secret probation game 7 over 7.5 was a winner,,,too bad for all u canadians,,,you'll always have david sapunjis,,,,,lets get it on

Raiders@broncos..(thurs)...denver,,,- 9.5,,,,42.5,,,,broncos come off a hard fought lower scoring win at houston as predicted ,,,,was not easy but fought back after being down most of the game to pull it off,,,,raiders had a thrilling performance at home with a 1 point loss in o.t. To the jags,,for a team that had been having a hard time scoring they went up and down the field in the 2nd half,,,,i dont really have a feel here, denver defense is excellent and I dont see the raiders doing much,,,,denver....27-13

Falcons/colts...location? somewhere not here....colts- 6.5,,,,48.5,,,,,colts off a loss at pitt that we called here at the letter,,,they were due so its really not that big a deal,,,beside I believe was the opening drive when they scored a td, the pitt defense really pressured jones and he struggled a bit,,,,more turnovers in that game than he had comin in total,,,falcons played i guess an ok game at the pats and got the cover, missed pat or perhaps they go to ot,,,it seemed most of the game the pats were in control but couldnt put the falcons away, credit to them,,,,falcons are up and down, this game may as well be on mars,,,wont be watching,,,,colts....28-24

Browns@jets....browns..-2.5....37.5....both off a bye I believe,,,,cleveland got killed 2 weeks ago at the pats and the jets were last seen getting their 1st win at cinncy in a thriller,,,,since then the jets have started to blow it up trading 2 huge pieces of their defense,,,,not sure how the team reacts as they must be quite demoralized seeing the best players get sold off,,,waving the white flag as if it even matters,,,browns as a road favorite?,,,nope,,,im gonn bank on the jets having some pride here,,,,jets.......20-14

Saints@panthers...carolina...-5.5,,,39.5....saints gave the rookie the start and it went as you would expect,,,some good, some bad,more bad and the rams rolled,,,as stated here all year, its a lost year for nola,,,panthers with perhaps the best win of the year goin into green bay and stunning the pack,,,,panthers, outside of that bills beatdown they got, have played well for over a month now,,,let down spot for sure, but a division game may keep the focus,,,,no feel,,,,,panthers....24-10

Bills@miami...bills..- 9.5,,,,50.5....bills seemed to have righted the ship with a nice win at home against kc that the newsletter was all over,,,allen once again beats mahomes in the reg season, but is 0 fer in the post season, keep that in mind months from now,,,,miami got destroyed at home by the ravens , we were wrong and thought there would be more points scored but miami did zip against that bad raven defense and the ravens kinda coasted,,,i will once again repeat myself in wondering out loud if mcdaniel has naked pics of the wife of the owner as the gm got fired for the phins, but yet mcdaniel still has a job,,,,.miami moved the ball in the 1st matchup,,,no real feel but that is too many pts to lay,,,,bills....27-20

Jags@texans...jags...- 1.5,,,37.5,,,,jags got a 1 point win at the raiders which is the exact margin that was predicted here, although alot more scoring than we thought,,they really let the raiders go up and down the field in the 2nd half so that is concerning but they did what they had to do to win, very lucky to survive that 2pt try,,,texans game was exactly what we thought it would be ,,a rock fight as they lost to denver at home after leading most of the game,,,bad loss,,,,,,i expect that here as well,,,low scoring but texans win it,,,,texans.....17-13

Ravens@vikings...ravens..-4.5...48.5.....viking get a great win at detroit that the newsletter got dead wrong,,mcarthy came back and threw for 2td and ran for one,,,,defense harassed goff, sacked 5 times,,,,ravens kicked the cock and balls out of the dolphins,,,give credit where it is due( lookin at u bigred),,lamar looked great and the defense who is starting to get some people back was good,,,but u raven fans, lets not start jerkin each other off just yet, the phins stink and now they go to minny,,,,ravens need to stack wins together, and this will be a test, so we'll see,,,i dont know who wins,,not comfortable with balt being a road fav here,,,minny....31-30,,,,

Pats@tampa...bucs..-2.5..48.5....pats off a win at home against atlanta, it was a weird game as the whole time watching it I was wondering how it was even that close...maye was good again throwing 2 td but turned it over twice as well and it seemed they slept walked through the 2nd half,,,,bucs off a bye,,,,as of this writing irving and godwin did not practice weds,,,check status before wagering,,,,i dont know what to think here,,,pats been on a roll, ''due'' for a bad performance,,,,tampa did not look good 2 weeks ago against detroit,,,i see points here,,,,tampa.....31-28

Giants@bears....bears-4.5,,,,46.5,,,,this line puzzles me,,,,bears were a 2.5 pt fav AT cinncy last week, now at home just a small fav?,,,,this line smells worse than bigred's floor store after he had taco bell for lunch,,,,giants come off a loss at home which we had pegged, they did they best they could but they just dont have the talent with all the injuries,,,the bears played what can be described as the most entertaining and heart attack inducing game of the year,,somebody see if sac is still with us,,,,we thought the bears game would be hi scoring and it was , but we had the bears losing, which they should have,,,but then again it shouldnt have even come to that for them, they had cinncy dead and buried,,,how either of those 2 d coordinators still have a job is laughable,,,,i see a close game, but ill defer to sac,,,,bears,,,,24-21,,,,

Both were great...Ravens offense 20 ppg....they made the Ravens D work much harder

Rams@49ers,,,,,,rams-4.5,,,49.5,,,rams killed the saints as we kinda expected in a game where they could name the score,,,niners took care of biz at the giants as we thought they would and it was a personal bet of the newsletter as well,,49ers won the first meeting and shanahan plays the rams well almost always,,,i see a close game here with no real feel,,,rams even the season series, lean over , but I dont think they should be a 4.5 road fav,,,win no cover,,,,,rams....30-28

Pitt@chargers...chargers..-3...45.5,,,,pitt with a nice win at home that the newsletter had as did many other astute pbox members did as well,,,pitt wasnt losin 2 in a row at home and the colts just were due,,,the defense finally played as it was expected to coming into the season,,,chargers we had wrong, we thought they would roll and they kinda did but once the titans scored a few times early you knew the chargers were never gonna cover,,,win is a win,,,,alt gone now and hampton still out,,,chargers throw it alot and will do that again here, I see points in this game with no feel for a side,,,close game i think,,,,chargers...31-30

Philly@greenbay,,,packers..-2.5,,,45.5,,,,,philly off a buy after crushing the giants 2 weeks ago,,finally opened up the offense in that one,,,,packers off a dreadful home loss to the panthers that is further evidence of how those big tall casinos get built in the desert out there as every teaser and ml parlay goes out the window,,,craft now out who was having a great season and some questionable coaching decisions didnt help the pack,,,you would think a bounce back is in order here for green bay but I dont think so...they may win, i think they lose a close one,,,eagles......27-26
