As the season approaches, I am reminded of the task at hand. Having your ROI in the black at

season's end. IMO the my best chance of that goal is to focus on pattern recognition and it's relationship to

posted odds. Historical pattern designs are very beneficial in this endeavor to isolate +EV or value wagering.

I avoid matchup analysis as recency bias will taint your projected values but instead create contrarian values.

Being able to navigate SDQL protocols and thinking outside the standard handicapping box is a BIG part to

profits, along with money (bankroll) management .

I recognize that the lines are created to promote as close to equal action as possible and NOT an indication of

teams' strength. The books have looked at some situations incorrectly for long periods of time, these missteps can be

discovered by pattern recognition and thoughtful queries (SDQL)
