Solid off-season in free agency and Solid draft picks all the way to 6th round where they drafted Gator Aussie Punter who excels kicking the "rock"..Special teams will have major upgrades, signed WR Sherfield for coverage and Solid blocker....ST coach is so excited already..doesn't hurt having All-Pro Returner Marvin Mims fielding punts

2nd Rounder Stud RB RJ Harvey from UCF..does he have a chip on his shoulder,
Signed FA RB J.K. Dobbins from Chargers...should have gone over 1,000 yards last year...Extremely valuable pickup solidifying RB position compared to last year....now if only Harvey can break out and use his speed to break outside..Thunder and Lightning 
BEST pickup of all off-season..TE Evan Engram...Bo didn't have solid pass catcher over the middle ..Engram could have a great year and word is Bo and him are clicking on all cylinders.

Barron will be playing inside but fellow defenders said this kid is Extremely smart and always around the ball..Remember his name..Middle LB Singleton is back healthy, so Broncos won't be starting Strnad and Cody Barton again. Thank God..those 2 could Never cover a wheel route

He had a very relaxing refreshing off-season traveling with his wife, Izzy and not picking up a football for quite some time. He is 25, very mature.stable, good kid who doesn't cuss. His dad is a football coach, he won 2 Mr Alabama awards leading his team to 2 state championships. He struggled at Auburn in brutal SEC and flourished at OREGON.
Drew Brees and Peyton Manning have really helped his growth into the Broncos QB spotlight. Kid is very humble, likeable, and is a phenomenal teammate according to them. VOTED a team captain last year. He WILL not have a Sophomore slump so many of you on this site predict..More coming, please comment if you have other opines..
Little weird how much public love Denver is getting Crusher . Although feels like a complete 180 from the disaster we had with Russ just a few seasons ago stuck in salary cap hell. Hard to not get excited about the future of this team though . So excited and think this team reaches 10 wins . LFG

What's surprising are the glowing media reports of team much improved, hungry, crisp, and what a different positive culture Sean Payton has created SINCE ridding the Russ failed experiment. Everyone is buying in because it's Actually Improving in leaps and bounds..
We're so lucky to have this organization starting with ownership. They don't settle for failure. Walmart Experience. Those players know they'll get Paid now too..Look at Courtland. Sean Payton knows what they're doing as does GM Patton..
Payton doesn't mind the SB aspirations either. Our division IS super tough, split with Chargers and K.C. and sweep Raiders..4-2 in division at worst. Go 2-2 with NFC East, win at least 4 of other 7 and that's 10 wins. Love Over 9' wins
Why Post all this?? I strongly believe there is SOME value betting on team totals although last year was stealing money...EZ money..But This year, not so much. 5' to 9' is a monster difference But...this years squad has filled so many needs..
Real Running backs. 3 important strong defenders in Greenlaw, S Hufanga, Barron, offensive Additions especially Evan Engram, Dobbins, and drafting impressive Rookie Harvey. If this squad plays up to potential, despite Tough division foes, could surprisingly WIN division. Chargers are well coached but Broncos have Dobbins now. They Need to take down Chiefs to host playoff game

HC Sean Payton is the MOST Important person in this squads turnaround. He has to do A Great job coaching if they want to climb mountain top. GM Patton has done a great job acquiring talented players especially on Defense. No Question about that other than key inside LB Greenlaws health.
This team reminds me of early 90"s Jimmy Johnson's Cowboys. He found players that Loved playing football and were extremely passionate.Super strong Defense that could control games. Let's see if Payton doesn't screw this up and does a Great job coaching this squad. He seems to be unusually confident with this crew so far. I will post all my favorite props this weekend. I think DEN could possibly struggle a ittle bit this year. Yes, I like Payton and the player additions. But we are talking about the AFC West here. I could easily see them going 3-3 in the division and/or 5-6 against the rest. I think O/U 9 wins is a pretty solid line. If DEN can make the playoffs and they stay mostly healthy, they could be a really dangerous, battle-tested team. And if there's a couple of key injuries in LAC and/or KC, a DEN division title is not out of the question.
I took Denver to win the West but I have somethings in my head about them that need to be solved. I have my questions but if things fall in place they can be the division winner.
I don’t like them -7.5 in week one because Tennessee will be improved but at the line they should win.

I Absolutely love Broncos Week 1 vs Cam Wards first ever NFL game..can easily see 2/3 interceptions in his first NFL game against that Defense..like I posted in BB's Denver thread..I don't think Titans will score over 10 points. I will be wagering on all sorts of alternative lines available..Sean Payton finally gets a win in Game 1 of season..All the best Great Spottie

The 3 big concerns for Denver. I am a Broncos fan since 1985. #1 is by far my biggest. It's their WRs. They can't get no SEPARATION. They don't have a shifty slot receiver. Sutton is really a high end #2 not a #1. Mims / Franklin are go route wide receivers although Mims is improving his route tree. Vele as a #2 is another slightly smaller Sutton. He is a solid 3rd down target. We will see with rookie Pat Bryant. This group needs a shifty cut on the dime receiver like Tyreek and a true alpha #1. I wanted that guy from Pitt that went to Dallas or that WR that resigned with Tampa. Either could have complemented Sutton well. #2 is Engrams health as well as Greenlaw. #3 is the run defense. Do we have enough girth upfront to keep the holes plugged. Did we do enough in the off season to address the center of our defensive line? Not so sure.

I don’t question the good acquisitions Denver has made but I question this -7.5 line. Denver had a fairly easy schedule with good lines in 2024. -7.5 us a lot.

Still some intriguing WR1’s out there around the league with burners as you reference Tyreek. Would anticipate WR room won’t look the same come December and playoff run. You guys bring up very valid points about Defense ability to stop potential running games..i.e. Chargers..they ran it right down Broncos middle as Herbert couldn't miss passes
down the middle too...Hufanga will be monster improvement covering TEs as will rookie CB Barron..
Broncos management went back and found their defense weaknesses from last year. They did the best to fix them. Similarly, look what they did at running back. They have 2 runners, with that solid Defense, will absolutely CONTROL games by moving the chains controlling the clock, opening things up for Nix when he does pass.
This team is so much better than last year. And I haven't even mentioned Evan Engram..What, Bo Nix finally has a REAL tight end who can catch and run..?? Vastly Improved squad.
Agreed will be interesting to see what an off-season of training and coaching will do to improve Franklin, Vele, Mims.

it’s difficult for me to gauge Broncos’25 value after the overachievements of last season. 9.5 RSW Seems correct, 10-7 in today’s NFL is an achievement. But man it’s hard to put a ceiling on this Team if thinks go the right way.
