Congratulations to a fantastic Commanders season LY, but this team still has some glaring weaknesses.
Not too often can you get a full TD and likely have the stronger team in the trenches. Wash. LT Tunsil will be a huge upgrade, but they are still expected to start a rookie RT. That is trouble vs. a bevy of Giant pass rushers.
The NY OL actually played pretty well early last year until solid LT Thomas and others were injured.
QB Wilson past his prime, but should find open receivers and deep ball success against a Washington Secondary that badly needs CB Lattimore to play well.
Believe Giant D will make just enough stops vs. excellent QB Daniels to shock the Commanders. I'll call it 27-23.
Happy Independence Day to all Americans on Covers! Crazy stat: 8% of all the beer drank in the US in a year is done on 7/4!

it was mentioned briefly. but if lattimore decides to play well and lock up nabers then the giants will have a hard time scoring. maybe just a few field goals.

Max-no doubt Lattimore vs. Nabors will be key. Lattimore has battled injuries and has likely lost a step.
WR's Robinson and Hyatt may also thrive with Wilson. Obviously, no guarantee. However, Wilson will take risks QB Jones didn't and will spread the ball around better.

You don't need the Giants to shock the "Redskins"...
You just need the NYG to "compete" better than they did last year. Russell is on the downslope of his career, but he is likely an upgrade to Daniel Jones , and that potential upgrade speaks a lot to how well a team can compete on the field.
Also, I get the sense the Redskins "overachieved" last year, and a sophomore slump is a real thing w/ QBs. Just go ask CJ Stroud.
I won't be playing this one, but if I were, I'd be taking NYG+7.

The NYG being woeful is a popular position. You may very well be correct, certainly their divisional games will be challenging. I still feel like this team has talent in key areas.
If Wilson can play reasonably well and this OL stays healthy, they can surprise.

I think Daboll will use Wilson better than Sean Payton in Denver did. Daboll chose to go with Wilson, whereas Payton inherited him
