the last text to me from GG Was in "things that happen when you get old" thread

gave me advice on my sleeping issues.

that was 9/12.

I sent gg back a thank you.

never a thought about this happening.

I am honored to have known him on a personal level even though it's a web site

I am going to see his wife tomorrow.

I don't know what to say, but I will try to remain composed sincere and supportive for her and their son. 

I can't express the shock I am in cause literally texted and talked with him about his college football system ( the man was on fire hit a 9 leg parley on Saturday)

I never saw this coming.... Was supposed to do some work around his home, a ramp after his foot amputation. And rebuild some walls ECT... 

It just hard to grasp a man full of life one day don't make it the next... Wish me luck pray for me cause not sure what tommorow brings us....

Never knew Goose personally except what he posted on this site.  Always a class act.  So sad to hear of his passing

Didn't know him very well but I liked reading his posts. He clearly impacted a lot of people.

RIP Goose. Maybe we'll see you on the other side.  

For some reason decided to check the general discussion thread today,unfortunately only to read this bad news.Goose and many of the posters replying here was what made covers cool years ago.GG must have been a blast to hang with.RIP
