I'd like to mention that I do agree that a 7-game series is a better judgment of the better team but those are not the rules.  Your argument just looks like petulant whining.  Its like crying about a pickup game you lost in deuce when you would have won straight up.  You knew the rules before the game started so don't bitch when its over.

The beauty of Playoffs and tournaments is it shows who is cool under the pressure of lose and go home.  

Regardless of regular season records, so far nobody is better than Butler, VCU or UConn when it counts. They have proven that.

This is the reason why I feel the tournament isnt as good as the BCS

 

Butler and VCU are horrible teams, Kentucky is a flex offense gone hood.....

 

The best teams play in the bowl games..... VCU and Butler and even Kentucky are not elite teams.

I feel your pain duke beats arizona 9 out of 10 times!!! Az couldnt miss in the 2nd half , throw up a shot blindfolded it wouldve went in!!!

Who Jones and Knight??? Miller and Wiggins are not that great....

That spread "hood" attack will not work against a team that can play zone. Kentucky made 5 less 3's in 1 game than they did the previous 3. That will not continue.

I don't understand how people can argue for determining championship matchups on paper over on the court.  I've said it before, the rules are simple: Win and go on, lose and go home.  This is one particular way to determine a champion.  Is it the best?  Probably not, but there's a reason its called March Madness.  This is basketball where upsets are more likely and some (maybe most) people consider it a positive characteristic of the tourney.

Its like playing deuce vs straight up or shooting do or die instead of match.  There are positives to each approach.  Personally though, in this argument and really any argument, I prefer to settle things on the court.  There isn't any time for 7-game series so you have to show up each game and compete.

AS SOON AS FLORIDA WENT UP 11, THE REFS CALLED 7 (SEVEN) FOULS AGAINST FLORIDA IN 3 MINUTES AND 29 SECONDS

During that span, Butler had 1 foul called against them, which was a blatantly obvious shooting foul.

The fouls on Florida consisted of a loose ball in which a florida player jumped straight up to get and matt howard ran 10 feet and jumped into the florida player, knocking both of them down.  and florida gets the call.  Another one was one of butler's players went for a layup and one of florida's big men jumped past him and just tried to reach for the ball.  he missed the ball, and no part of his body was remotely close to hitting the butler player's body, yet it was a made layup and easy free throw.

AS SOON AS BUTLER WAS WITHIN 3, the refs started calling even fouls.
