I'm something like 3-9 on totals in posted plays on this forum. Totals is a tough nut to crack and I have stopped trying my luck on that shit , no more.

Beat the bookies at their strength and that's point spread. 24-18 means nothing and is such a miniscule sample size but my point is i am not visiting the totals markets during coming up basketball season. You cannot predict THE PACE of a game in advance all the time.

I read somewhere in one of the forums on totals and it goes like this:

Totals is like trying to predict how many times your girlfriend/wife is going to put on an outfit and look in the mirror and change it. For mine, the O/U on that would be 3, but I would make it 2.5 just to Fu** with you. On the weekends, it would be 3.5.
