Let's keep a running tally of all the ginomrous favorite tampons who lose in this major just like all the others.

So far we have Sloane as a -1000.  Usually we have 8-9 of the top 20-25 seeds bomb out in the first round to scrubs.  Woz hard at work against Putintseva as a -1200.  Let's keep up the good work, ladies.

This list will be very long when all is said and done.   Let's keep it to -500's and beyond. It's not like anyone bats an eye when a -400 loses on the WTA tour.  That happens every 15 minutes.

The funny thing about watching almost all these womens matches is it's impossible to tell who the superior player is in so many of them.  Woz is a -1200 favorite and you cant tell whatsoever by watching them play ping pong who is better.  This is what makes Serena so good and to a lesser extent - Sharapova.  They play a man's game.  They go for their shots.  They dictate.  They arent waiting for errors, they are looking for winners.  Mugu may become like them one day as she gains experience.  Plays a similar power game.  Azarenka is the only other women's player you can ordinarily expect a mentally tough performance from.  Not sure how anyone bets that sport.

In half of one day.  LMAO.  "Major surprise" says the announcer of Woz losing. Yeah.  Sure. Sure it is.

Woz played really bad prior to this, I didn't expect a first round loss but I would have tossed a bit live you could see Woz was falling apart.

Muguruza will be very good.

You are way over-simplifying tennis strategy. Why not wait for errors if your opponents make them frequently. >5-1 favs are a losing proposition in almost any sport

-1200 is horrible in any sport like you said. I would never lay that juice EVER. Look at Rhonda and Serena US Open!

Add Stosur to the list, Pliskova just won me money live and Puig won me money vs Stosur last week... Stosur is awful.

The upsets today have been unreal.

I watched 15 mins of the match.  Saw nothing but the 5'3 asian pushing the -3000 favorite all over the court and dictating the rallies.  Makes sense.
