No sweat...this is when it starts to get fun.

In the previous seasons it already happened that you chose two away teams when the odds were similar for the home and away team. So why wouldn't we play SJ and TOR today for example?

The strongest odds for Toronto is +105/-125. I don't really consider that as close. If it was something like -110/-110 it would be a consideration.
No need to force a play, it is a long season. We may have to wait until Thursday but I'm good with that.

All right. Another question, you've been doing this for 4 seasons now, on average, what are the odds that you get on each bet? I'm asking because I'm curious to see what the returns would look like if we used a martingale strategy instead.

I agree with Irish, here. Something you might want to do, Castor, as Irish pointed out, is go through the picks from page one. You could apply your Martingale hypothesis to the past picks. See how it performed. Or just apply the marty to Dan's future picks, strictly by tracking and not wagering on them. Dan seems to have fine-tuned this NHL road fav parlay system to the point where many of us feel very fortunate to tail it.

If it "ain't" broke, don't fix it. Throughout the thread many of posters have looked into alternate forms of playing these selections myself and Dan included. Just follow along and hopefully at the end of the season we'll be successful once again.

All right thank you for all of your replies, this system is indeed very much on point. I am actually following a martingale based system for soccer. I just found out about the tony stoffo money management technique and the results for my system are better with it than the martingale strategy, so yeah I will just follow along! I am just starting on NHL betting. Did you all start with a 740$ bankroll too?

starting bankroll should be 74x whatever your base unit is, and that might be different for everyone based on their overall bankroll available "to lose"
to answer your question though, yes, last year started w/ $740
