I'd say a rather easy win on the big play yesterday but Munich missed so many chances to put the game away that I was made to sweat in the end. I guess slightly better than having to pray that Liverpool pull another rabbit out of the hat only to find that...well, they did. And PSG was the runaway winner showing how stacked they are with Dembele and Doue on the bench.
Today there are some highly competitive matchups and Thursdays are usually a tricky day for teams to play on but I happen to like quite a few angles so thought I'd post and see how things turn out:
CLUB BRUGGE PK (-130): Given the reasoning as to why I am backing Club Brugge here, one would think this would be a BIG PLAY. But they face a Monaco side that is wildly inconsistent in this tournament though they have started off the season in Ligue 1 very strongly and progressed nicely last year in the CL. But they go to Belgium to face a side that so many teams have taken lightly, the most recent of which was Rangers, getting thrashed 9-1 on aggregate. This same team last year went into Manchester City and almost embarrassed them. Point is, they are an extremely strong side that is tough to beat in Brugge and has yet again started of this campaign extremely strongly. I will take the PK on home soil and challenge Monaco to play a near perfect game for this not to cash.
OVER 3 (-140) GALATASARY/EINTRACHT FRANKFURT: This game should feature many goals as Galatasaray have not kept a clean sheet on away travels in something like almost 2 years. And Frankfurt have been scoring, especially at home, and should come into this game brimming with confidence. I'm not sure they can keep a clean sheet themselves and backing BTTS seems sensible, though with the OVER juiced so high, I think they are tempting us to take the under in a game that should feature over the total here.
BARCELONA PK (-130)...BIG PLAY!!!: This is puzzling to me. I know Lamine Yamal will not be playing tonight but the overall Barcelona side is miles better than that of Newcastle and, I'm sorry, but if you can only win your league home game against Wolves 1-0, and probably should have given up goals that were near misses, you are in for a long night when Barcelona comes to town. Add to that Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has won something like 80%+ in this tournament and even higher in the group stages, and I think you will end up grinning when this ends up more one sided than the spread dictates.
I might come back on and add another, still looking at it. But this is a solid start for me and the first game kicks off at 9:45 PST so just be aware in case you don't know. As always, tail or fade, good luck to all...

@Timealker Yes, pk, tie-no bet and double chance are all same, draws are refunded, its at -190 at Fan Duel in Barca game, that’s a good line that he published
Thanks for explaining that. I went to gym and now see Brugge is up 2-0 which would be a great start to our day
I use a local too and that line was still available this AM when I posted. Regardless I am not sure Newcastle even scores. Their offensive “firepower” is lethargic and unreliable

NAPOLI +1 (-130)…BIG PLAY!!!: i’m so much short on time, but I wanted to add this play as Pep Guardiola has an actual losing record against Antonio Conte, who is the coach of Napoli. That might not matter as much but when you take it into account that Man city is down a couple of would be starters. I think their offensive fire power will be a bit more muted and Napoli‘s defense can keep this game close. I wouldn’t be surprised if this game draws, but I would be more surprised if Napoli lost by more than one goal.

Solid first half starts. Looks like we are at worst pushing with the Frankfurt OVER. Quite nervous about Napoli but truth be told, they are a very sound defensive team and their GK is playing out of his mind. BUT...they are a man down, on the road, and have lost both DiLorenzo (red card) and DeBruyne (injury) who I think are their two better players.
Barcelona I'm counting on winning in their typical late game style with Hansi Flick jumping all over the place. At least let's hope.

Sorry, had a business meeting and am truly pissed. I was on the verge of playing EVERY 2nd half over and they literally are all going to go over. Initial impetus for doing so was to hedge against Napoli since I thought they were toast but was hopeful they might only lose by 1. That red card completely changed this game and they have NO shots on goal so hard to score anything. Eventually I just laid off which means I left some money on the table.
Barcelona is fully winning this game not sure what the other guy was saying about them not being good without Yamal. It's good to bear in mind that in this tournament most every team is good and capable. Except when you get an early red card and then lose your other best player to injury. No way I could have sent that coming.

It's just people that want to rain on a parade. Had a clown in another thread tell me all I do is lose when all I do is post a record which is more than most do. Nothing to hide. NFL is really my jam and I've had some tough days but overall pretty flat there too but I have a sizable play for tonight.
I usually make a fortune betting sports so I'm trying to help but like anyone I'm prone to down days too. Can't win them all and as you see it only takes a red card or penalty in the soccer matches to completely change the game and would be betting angle. So yeah, this is forum and if I want I can come into MY thread and vent.
