In Europe the cap has been closing somewhat from initially, +8.5 to +6.5, which suggests some interest in the Brumbies, and I agree. Being rested, at home, a battle at the breakdown looming with an excited referee, I have to favour the home side to edge this one.  Brumbies to win 1-12 is available at 13/5, but will rather go for the outright win and take some cover on the cap.

Historically, matches between the sides have been close, with only one from the last 6 being won by more than 12 points (14 points), and that’s where I will be looking in this match as it has all the hallmarks of a tight-affair.

Last week, for the first time since 1975 the lower ranked team on the ladder won every game of the round. That tells us something about how even the competition is, and we knew that some of the teams towards the bottom of the ladder are better than their records suggested. Other teams were expected to win easily but failed dismally. The question now is how many teams are still in the running for the eight? Usually by this time of the season it has been narrowed down to 10 at most, but at this stage there are probably 12 teams with legitimate finals aspirations. This round sees a number of the top sides play each other, so there is a big opportunity for some of the middle ranked teams to step up.

Bulldogs - no JT, no chance.

Dragons - they beat ‘em last time and just might do it again.

Tigers - not touchin’ the Fluffy Ones after their last showing against Manly. Yikes!

Panthers - bound to win one sooner or later (they’re due) and they’re at home.

Storm - I can hear Jimmy wailing out “Purple Haze” already. Love the man. Best guitarist ever! Check it…


Manly - they keep surprising me so I’ll take the risk and tip ‘em here.

Raiders - this must be the “lock of the week” surely.

Roosters - gotta stay true. Not that I think they’ll lose anyway. Sorry Baggy.

Cowboys by 4- Although Thurston is out this week, with the Cowboys getting some key inclusions back, I think that they'll win... just.

Dragons by 2- I'm not going against the Dragons here but if we do win, I think that it'll be very close.

Rabbitohs by 8- The Rabbitohs to get back into form with a win here.

Panthers by 10- Panthers will start their string of wins here I've said it and I'm sticking with it.

Storm by 6- I think that the Storm with be too clinical for the Titans.

Broncos by 8- Broncos to beat Manly here.

Raiders by 14- Raiders to get back into form with a convincing win over the Knights.

And finally... Roosters by 4- Roosters in a close one.

auckland weather is not looking good.. very fogy and has been raining since yesterday.. its not hevay rain.. just small rain..

totals started 60.5 and drop down to now 57.5... f... the cheetahs never forget this arshole and not bet for me

lots south african are  backing cheetahs +19.5 and them to win too good luck..

Sorry a, missed the comp, been very busy lately, Go the cowboys, great to see their defence finally pick up. Hey Thinker, I cant seem to fathom why so many picking the Panthers over the Warriors, I know a lot of warriors are backing up after the test but the Panthers are absolutely woeful at the moment and I just cant see them improving, there is definitely something wrong with that club at the moment, does someone know something that I don't?


answer is its warriors mate.. they will loose 20+ to  any shity team... it does not matter panthers will win.... no matter what..
