Yeah it's a interesting scenario that I haven't seen. Wouldve been interesting to see Dan Campbell's reaction to this move by bowles but I think bowles is a old school type of coach and respects the unwritten rules. 

I think it was mutual coaches to not delay the game. Once bowles didn't call the first timeout it was probably assumed game was over by both coaches so the lions started to snap early. I think bowles wouldve been bush league to call a timeout on 3rd down. The lions could've drained it to almost the end of game if they wanted to
