ChatGPT - The line is spot on. Matchup tilts Cardinals but definitely not a mismatch. Lean under. This is a no play.

DeepSeek - Public is heavy on Carolina but the books are not budging off of -7 which means they are comfortable with needing Arizona. Totally a contrarian play but I'm backing the Cardinals -7 here.

Denver vs. Indianapolis

ChatGPT - Line favors Denver more than I think it should. Colts should be pick 'em. I'd play Colts money line in this one at +110.

DeepSeek - Denver defense is not a good match for the Indianapolis quarterback situation. Lean to Broncos here but more for the UNDER 43.5. No side.

Philadelphia vs. Kansas City

ChatGPT - Public + sharp money aligned on KC, but books holding Philly as favorite ? this is a “pros vs pros” type game where either side is defensible. Chiefs money line has the value.

DeepSeek - Philly's trench play gives them the advantage in my book but this has the making for a final possession winner. This is an even matchup but I'd be going with the home field advantage if I were forced to pick a side. The OVER makes more sense to me but I think I would watch and enjoy this one.

I haven't been around for a very, very long time. To be honest, I stopped gambling for more than ten years.

Over the last few weeks, I decided to play around with the use of artificial intelligence when analyzing sporting events, handicapping, teams, etc.

I'm not coming in here to tell you to bet anything posted below but I find a lot of the dialog very interesting with the AI platforms. At the moment, I'm sitting in a parking lot waiting for my wife to come out of a store. (I intended to post this from my desktop but timing isn't going to allow that.) And... Because of this, I'm paraphrasing what they are saying because toggling back-and-forth is taking me way more time than I intended. Also, these are just the 1 P.M. games.

Cleveland vs. Baltimore

ChatGPT - No line advantage. Slight lean to under 45.5 but wouldn't bet this game.

DeepSeek - This is not a game with betting edge.

New England vs. Miami

This one took a lot of dialog. Both platforms thought Bill Belichick was still with New England. ??

ChatGPT - Thinks the raw line should be Miami -4.5 and, for that reason, finds value in Miami at -1.5 and -2. Doesn't seem value in the total 

DeepSeek - Agrees with ChatGPT

N.Y. Giants vs. Dallas

ChatGPT - My line has it at -6 but with all that money on Dallas it looks like a trap. I would not bet on this game. Under looks good but I'm passing.

DeepSeek - Flat out said Dallas -4.5 up to -5. Does not feel like the over/under has any value.

Jacksonville vs. Cincinnati

ChatGPT - No value in the spread. Expecting a shootout and don't be afraid of the OVER 49.5.

DeepSeek - The spread seems to be spot-on. I would look at the OVER before anything else but I think there are better places to put money today.

Chicago vs. Detroit

ChatGPT - My line is Detroit -7.5. It looks playable. The only path I see for Chicago is for Caleb Williams to create chaos with his legs and the Lions blowing coverage. I like Detroit -6. I also lean OVER but wouldn't touch it.

DeepSeek - I see Chicago as a solid road dog in this seasonal situation. I like the points. I don't see any reason to bet the total.

Buffalo vs. N.Y. Jets

ChatGPT - Slight value to Buffalo -5.5 but my best bet is UNDER 47.5. I don't see this one getting over 44.

DeepSeek - I like the home dog here +5.5 but the better play is the UNDER.

Seattle vs. Pittsburgh

ChatGPT - Market line is higher on the Steeler than my model. Lean to Seattle and their explosive wide receiving core. Lean to the under.

DeepSeek - I look at this game to be a defensive battle. I have this game at 37 points so the UNDER would be my best bet.

S.F. vs. N.O.

ChatGPT - Public is heavy on New Orleans but the big money is on S.F. The line is on the money which makes this one hard for me to pick. OVER/UNDER is in line too. I pass.

DeepSeek - This game offers some interesting situational factors. S.F. -3 is my pick but if it moves it is a no play. The total is very sharp.

Los Angeles Rams vs. Tennessee

ChatGPT - No real edge in this one. My line is Rams -6. Under looks like the best play in this one but it seems like it is a force play.

DeepSeek - Overall edge tilts Rams, especially if they control game script early. No play though.

I agree with you on the college piece. I have learned over time that college has treated me way, way better than the pros.

As for the people that place those "easy money" bets like -1000, -1500, etc. they are way too comfortable for my liking. As a matter of fact, I'm the exact opposite. I'm notorious for putting $10 and $25 live down on teams that are losing by a lot. For example, I won $245 on a $10 bet tonight when the live line was +2450 for Buffalo. Now... 98% of the time I lose those but when they do win they tend to cover a bunch of the losers. And... They are always fun to root for.

Anyway... Back to work...

UNDER is, by far, the hardest bet for me to throw down on in almost any sport. That said, when I get OVER I tend to lose often. I guess I need to learn.

Personally, I like your Nevada bet.  I have already said (not in here being that this is my first day in years) that I think the Nevada going Democrat is the best bet value-wise.  I am not sure if the cut-off for political bets have past but I would jump on this in a heartbeat (even right now).

I have been out of the game for a long time.  Almost two years.  I used to be a 5Dimes loyalist but I got into a nasty spat with them and they decided to close my account down.  So...  I am officially looking for a new book.

Being that I have been out of it for a while, are there any new "stars" I should know about?  Or is it the same 'ol, same 'ol?
