Blue Jays/Mariners UNDER 7 Bieber has been nothing less than masterful when pitching in Seattle during his career. The Mariners have to be tired after their big extra innings win, then flying to Toronto, dealing with customs, two big wins, etc and then having to fly back. I'm expecting M's bats to be flat and Kirby to have an excellent game, with runs being at an absolute premium. Predicting 3 or less!

Phillies/Dodgers OVER 8 Both lineups can mash, and the pitchers have struggled in this matchup. Sanchez has been sharp lately, but the Dodgers have hit him hard all year. Glasnow's got swing-and-miss stuff, but Philly roughed him up last time. Add in warm air, wind blowing out, and two tired bullpens - that's a recipe for runs. Feels like this one gets past the number.

Yankees/Jays OVER 8 1/2 (-105) You can make a strong case for a Yankees bounce-back, but the Over offers more value in this matchup. Toronto's sending out a rookie starter to face one of the most disciplined and powerful lineups in baseball - a tall order when the bullpen's already stretched after 13 innings in the last three games. The Yankees are averaging over five runs per outing and punish fastballs early, while Max Fried hasn't been sharp against the Jays, allowing 11 earned runs over his last three starts versus them. Both clubs can hit lefties, both bullpens are taxed, and this setup points toward plenty of offense.

Mariners -1 1/2 Seattle's in a good spot here with George Kirby taking the ball against a Detroit lineup that just can't get much going. The Tigers have topped four runs only twice in their last ten games, and they're piecing this one together with a reliever to start - not ideal against a patient Mariners lineup that makes pitchers work. Kirby's been sharp, walking just one batter over his last 21 innings while keeping his WHIP under 1.00. Add in Seattle's steady bullpen and Detroit's leaky middle relief, and the runline looks like the right side.

Pirates +175 Yeah, this one's a little bit of a dart throw, but it's the last day of the regular season - why not take a swing with some value? Johan Oviedo hasn't been lights-out, but he's kept Pittsburgh in games, holding opponents to two runs or fewer in seven of his recent outings (and yes, one of those was basically a bullpen day). Morton, on the other hand, looks like he's running on fumes - a 5.89 ERA and a bloated 1.57 WHIP aren't exactly the numbers of a guy you trust laying chalk. The Braves might be the better team on paper, but this sets up like one of those lazy Sunday finales where the underdog sneaks one. I'll take the plus-money shot with Oviedo to end the year on a high note.

Yankees -1 1/2 -110 The Yankees are still fighting for the AL East title and have won 6 of last 7 in this series all by two or more runs. They're tearing the cover off the ball with 21 runs over their past three and have scored 5 or more runs in 8 of their past 10 games.

Brewers +103 Peralta has been nearly spotless over the past month. The Padres are returning from a 6-game East Coast/Midwest road trip. The "first game back" from a long road trip late in the season usually results in a team coming out flat.
