Minnesota not only covers but wins outright....1-0 on the week

 The final score against Texas was very misleading...Oklahoma was right with them for almost the entire game. The 3 turnovers were fatal.   If Texas was playing South Carolina, it would be a double digit line.

Trying to get over the hump here for the season...here we go.  My picks in bold.   Will provide analysis when season record goes back over 50%.  Which ones do you like?

oklahoma -5.5 SOUTH CAROLINA

georgia tech -3 DUKE

texas -11.5 KENTUCKY

texas a&m -7.5 ARKANSAS

MINNESOTA +6.5 nebraska

NOTRE DAME -8.5 usc

BC -1.5 uconn

JMU -4.5 odu

buffalo -16.5 UMASS

Iowa covers easily.  3-4 on the week.  17-19 YTD ATS 47%.  Back next week to go up for the season. Good luck to all. 

Maryland and wake forest cover.  Unlv and odu do not.  2-4 on the week. 

Of course Charlotte scores a td with 8 seconds left.  Army doesn’t cover. 0-2 on the week. 

Army looking good so far on both sides of the ball.  Of course playing Charlotte doesn’t hurt. 

Jax state plays a sloppy end of 1st half.  Wins but does not cover.  0-1 on the week.

ARMY  -18.5 charlotte

MARYLAND +5.5 nebraska

UNLV -7 air force

old dominion -14 MARSHALL

wake forest -2.5 OREGON STATE

iowa -4 WISCONSIN

jacksonville state -9.5 SAM HOUSTON

Duke wins going away.  5-4 on the week  14-15 ytd ATS

Miss st coughs up the ball and can’t score.  4-4 on the week.  It’s up to Duke to get me to a winning week.  

Texas Tech covers.  4-3 on the week. 

Texas loses.  Sark needs a drink. 3-3 on the week. 

Maryland chokes but still covers 3-2 on the week 

Central Michigan and big game james lose outright.  2-2 on the week. 

Wake Forest wins outright. 2-0 on the week 

Illinois covers. 1-0 on the week. 

Ohio QB is pretty darn good.  Ball State is pretty bad.  Thoughts?

 Obviously Washington is the toughest team Maryland will play so far, but they are home and they are getting 6 points.  I see a few things:

1. Terp Defense has been playing well..yielding only 10.8 points per game.

2. Maryland coming off a bye week, while Washington had a disappointing home loss vs. Ohio State where they really got their manhood taken away...very demoralizing.

3. I don't see a lot of offense coming out of Washington and the first two garbage FBS teams they played (Colorado State and Washington State)  both scored 21 points or more. So if Maryland scores 24 points, can Washington score 31????  Seems like a high bar.
