That and starting Sanchez in the 7th (to see more hitters for a 3rd time) was irresponsible, when you finally have the lead.  Phillies pen should have started a clean inning.    Final score 1-0 ?

Think this game is a springboard to take the Giants in the coming weeks too.

Yeah the CURVEBALL was Dodgers getting away with using 2 starting pitchers in relief effectively for 4 innings.

Once Philly got the lead in the 7th, maybe using their rested high leverage relievers to start the inning would have made a difference.  Letting Sanchez see more hitters for the 3rd time was reckless when you have a lead in the 7th.

Thompson will look back and know he was out managed in the 7th, letting Sanchez stay in for the 7th.

I think LA now gets this one in the bottom of the 10th when they bat.

Lots of confidence now going in against Glasnow, who they beat up in the regular season.
