Full disclosure I am a Cubs homer...but I agree with your assessment. Boyd has gone from being the Cubs ace to just being another guy. Not sure why the wheels fell off in the second half but the difference was startling. the cubs offense has been on a tear over the last 6 games producing runs in droves. Unless the Cubbies can keep hitting like that do I do not have much confidence Boyd and our pen can manage to win a low scoring game.  

Can't bring myself to bet against the cubbies so I am sitting this one out and hoping for the W.

 Toronto have High AVG (.270) and strong OBP (.348) vs LHP but only a .395 SLG, which is mediocre — they’re not driving the ball.

They get on base just fine (walks and singles) but they don’t hit for power (few doubles, triples, home runs), which means they often strand runners and struggle to score in bunches.

They average about ~ 3.9–4.2 runs/game vs LHP, which is slightly below league average.

Much of their production depends on stringing together 3–4 hits in a row — no margin for error without big swings. Middle of the order (e.g. Vlad Jr., Springer) has underperformed in terms of slugging vs LHP. Few lefty mashers in the lineup — no one with consistent .900+ OPS vs LHP to break games open.

Many singles and walks = traffic but low run efficiency.

people who love conferences or divisions crack me up. never have i ever cheered for a conference at either the college or pro level. i got my teams and i dont feel better if some other team from my conference or division does well. if my team loses i dont suddenly jump on the conference or division bandwagon and cheer for teams i hate.
