I have said it for a couple of weeks now.......Philly has been playing and acting like the Giants of last year.  Nobody really respecting them.  Nobody thinking they can make it to the SB from the 6th seed.  Well, don't look now folks, but we are one game away from having our first all 6th seed SB!!!  And here is the news flash.......Balt and Philly are the number 2 and 3 defenses in the league.  Balt lost to Pitt by 3 twice.......Philly dominated them and held Pitt to the lowest point total of the year and sacked Ben 9 times in a 15-6 beat down..........and then Balt slapped Philly 37-7 in the Mcnabb benching game..........Now where do I see how Arizona fits in to anything except being happy to have set a few franchise records and reach thier first NFC Championship game.  Oh yeah, they got smacked 48-20 when Philly started thier run!!!!

too many sports experts have mentioned that you can throw out the theory of the 1st game.  Both teams have changed since then.  It still doesn't seem real that the Cards are in the NFC title game.  while teams like New England and Dallas didn't even make the playoffs.  Enjoy your dream season Cards...while it lasts.  pullin hard for the Cards though

The only game the refs will fix will have to be against the Cards. no one wants to see them in the SB - fan base is weakest of all the remaining. Networks will lose millions if they get in. Philly will stop Cards "new" running attack and punish them in the red zone. Cardinals also wont have as much offensive firepower without Delhomme as their backup QB.

I think the storybook season comes to an end for the Cardinals. Philly is playing great playoff football. The offense works with short passes and smart runs i.e. shuffle passes and screens until they get a two score lead and then that Defense POUNCES!
Lights out in the 3rd QTR for Arizona. Nice stadium though.
 
With Philly -3, this looks like the best bet this coming weekend.

I think that this one is a tough spot....Arizona at home??? That ass kicking they took was on the east coast in Philly....We know how woeful they were on the east coast until this past Saturday.

What is it about Donovan McNabb that produces any confidence that he won't play a horrible game? I don't like either team at this point, though I'm leaning Cards and like the idea of fading a public that is this in love with the Iggles.
 
The idea that Donovan shows up and his team dominates is far from a given. In fact, I think it's pretty unlikely. Nothing that they've done this year indicates that they're going to automatically play their best ball on Sunday.

 they dont need to play their best ball on sunday. they can save that for the SB. they match up very well with the cards. donovan just needs to play sufficient like he has been the past few games. westbrook and crew will take care of the rest.
their defense is what gives the confidence that they wont play a horrible game. what is unlikely is that the eagles defense has a bad game. very unlikely. if the eagles play defensively ike they did the past couple weeks, the cards are all done
