I agree but disagree. I agree the jets are the right side and have a ton of value on the moneyline plus 180. I agree when the pats are only a 3-4 pts fav at home they will probably lose or be in a dogfight where getting points is alot smarter. Where I disagree heavily is why not buy the half up to 4?? If the jets are up 23-20 late and brady is driving having plus four is a monster difference. For an extra 10 percent and that kind of money i would NEVER have a half of point in any bet....I'm with you (plus 4) so good luck.

Quad..I agree w/ EVERYTHING you have posted on this thread..however, I bought a point on the Pats to -2.5 (-130)...I can see it being a high scoring CLOSE game...the Jets have snake bitten me one too many times the past two years...good luck!!

Hey I see your from Canada..you do know that Doug Flutie is not the quarterback for the Patriots..right? They got a new guy called Tom Brady. Better QB +better coach +homefield advantage+revenge factor =The Patriots. I hope your wife doesn't throw you out into the cold canadian weather after you drop this one.  PATS & the OVER all day

And also I've noticed that when the majority of covers members pick a favorite over-whelmingly, it's better to take the dog.  But a 9-2 team catching 3.5? I'll take it all day long.  So keep hammering the Patriots and one of us will be happy at the end of the day. 

I have very little money on this game as I put my hard-earned cash on the OKC Thunder +4.5 in NBA; but I'm just giving my opinion.  Good luck to you all.

Just because everybody bet the line to 4 doesn't make it the right side

I see a field goal game either way quite honestly.

Remember a couple weeks back when the Pats were -4 over an injury-plagued Colts team? They should have definitely covered that # considering how many players were out for Indy.  Guess what, it was a 3 pt victory.

The Jets in this spot are WAY more capable of playing tough tonight than Indy were that game; Peyton threw 4 picks and the Patriots STILL didn't cover the -4.

If I were betting the Patriots, it would have to be the moneyline or buy the spread down to less than a FG.  Just my opinion.

But I am bias; I generally only bet underdogs.  Especially in the NBA & NFL.

I don't think the Pats will be able to cover Holmes and Edwards and Keller.... nor do I think they will stop the run..

I don't this will be Brady vs. Sanchez...

True..BUT Sanchez is no Manning. Manning can throw for scores at will. If the Jets get behind like the Colts did I don't see a similar outcome. The Jets need an low score slug fest and that just ain't gonna happen.

No Pats love here.  Both offenses are good but the Jets have a good defense and the Pats have a bad defense.  The Pats can mask their defensive deficiencies by outscoring bad teams like Detroit, but that usually doesnt hold up against good defensive teams like the Jets.  When getting 4 points, give me the good defense over the good offense any day.  Rex has Bill's number and showed it once this year. The total is gonna be close, staying away from it.

JETS +4 for me and predicting an outright Jets win.

Sanchez is playing a lot better than Manning as of late (like he hasn't thrown 10 picks - 4 returned for TD's in his L3 games); but Sanchez notwithstanding, the Jets actually have a RUNNING GAME.

And I'm not talking about 1 ypc either; the RUNNING GAME is definitely going to open up the PASSING GAME.  Santonio Holmes and Braylon Edwards can make Derrick Anderson look good.

Seems like Vegas is telling everyone to take Jets and Over.

Pats -3 buy the point.  Under 44.5 I am skeptical abou this as my instincts and research tell me otherwise.
