If there has been 1 theme of this post-season, it's defense, defense, defense.... the GB/Zona Shootout decided by a defensive play, Saints defense beat up the Cardinals, Dallas D beat up the Eagles, Vikings D beat up Dallas, Ravens D beat up the Pats…. Jets defense beat up both the Chargers and Bengals…. The only exception was the Colts win over the Ravens, in my opinion the Colts offense won that game…. The Defense did get 2 huge fumbles, 1 on Ed Reed, and 1 on Ray Rice…..

The JETS will win this game……. Why? Because the Colts can’t stop the JETS running game, the clock will be running on the legs of Thomas Jones and Shon Greene, only this time the Colts defensive line won’t be able to hang with the JETS o-line as they did with the Ravens o-line…. The JETS o-line is in another league…. And Mark Sanchez plays well as long as it’s not cold.

Other-side of the ball... Peyton Manning arguably the best of all time at QB... Reggie Wayne, will be on Revis Island next to every good wide receiver in the game... Dallas Clark, double covered over the middle.... (have you been watching the timing between those 2? it's off, it hasn't been the same as it was during the regular season... Dallas Clark is not a "big game" tight end.... he drops key passes.... a few agianst the JETS in week 16... A few last week against the Ravens.... the last few playoff appearances he has not played well.... He lost oneo f the games against the CHargers by dropping the football"...... but he will be double covered... so whose left? Pierre Garcon and Austin Collie????? 2 rookies??? there's no Marvin Harrisson on this team.... once the rookies get open and catch the ball, you'll be holding your breath and praying they odn't fumble, because that's exactly what's going to happen.... the JETS will win this turnover battle

you wanna talk about Kaeding missing FGs? what about Vinatari sitting on the bench.... your counting on Matt Stover???

Am I crazy??? Maybe...... Ed Reed Intercepted 2 passes from your boy Manning.... Also, look at the Colts historically against the AFC East... Even this year, they pulled the Miami win out of their ass (I won that bet) they should have beaten the Pats (took the Colts and won that bet too).... they were in dogfights with the Ravens, 49ers, Broncos, Jags, and last but of course not least, the JETS.... Everyone makes it seem that the Colts would Definitely have won that game if Manning played, but no-one knows that, this is why you play the games.... and now the JETS are getting 7.5????

If you really want to go back, the JETS only superbowl win was against hte Baltimore Colts....

This is the playoffs, the playoffs are determined by who can run, and who can stop the run.... The Colts can do neither.... Don't just look at the big names, and the regular season record... this is a new year that srtared 2 weeks ago.... the JETS are undefeated in this NEW YEAR..... they beat 2 great football teams on the road... last week I preached the same story.... CHargers cannot stop the run.... the Colts, are not built to stop the run...

I kinda like the Colts despite -7.5.They are at home and last week was a tune - up after a long layoff. They will be roaring to go this week - I hope.

 

If it were not for Ravens blunders, fumble's and penalties, Indy would be plkaying golf in S.Fla vs Super Bowl .  Jeats are hungry and your boy will see more green on his jersey verses red zone. Just like I took the Gints vs Pats..............scenario seem seem similiar?/

 

Best of luck to  you, but Jets with points large and respectful amount on the ML which not only pays........it will pay thru a "pey"ton Manning choke verses a Jets D which shall disrupt his sequence and timing but get pounded by Jets running game who will keep time and points. Just like the Pats did to him 3 years ago (or 4).

 

This game should be an under.......both D's very tight but running game advantage, and Revis and seconcodary Co. will prevail over Indy.

BreakaBookie check your facts.  Jets kept Brees out of the endzone but so did the Bills.  Reggie Wayne will be covered good by Revis but to say Dallas Clark is not a "big game" tight end is a joke of a statement.  Have you seen his stats?  Compare them to Dustin Keller, have yourself a laugh.  He is a reception machine.  Who is gonna double cover him, cover Wayne, Garcon, Collie, and Brown and Addai out of the backfield?  Too many weapons.  They were in "dogfights"?  Did the Jets beat Miami this year?  Did the Jets beat the Jags?  Besides the Chargers and Pats where are their BIG wins?  Look who they beat this year a bunch of scrubs.  Don't give me they beat Indie already because EVERYONE knows that game ends differently if Manning stays in it.  Painter had a int. and fumble when he took over in it.  I don't dislike the Jets just their fans.  The Jets fans I know weren't hopeful of even making the playoffs until they were in.  They're doing good in the playoffs due to good running, good d, and a couple of missed field goals.  Maybe they put up a fight and cover due to the Colts missing a field goal but they do not WIN this game.

Like I said, thats why I miss ya BaB. It has made me double think and I havent pulled any trigger just yet. You are right about the Jets being the only one that has a chance in keeping the Saints out of the enzone and quite honestly thats why I would rather have the Colts win this game.
