I am fairly new to this but was taught by someone who does this for a living (14 years). I've never lost a dime of my own money as I built up my winnings using the casino's roll over bonus ;-) I am also completely dispassionate about sports; I couldn't care less who wins or loses and rarely watch the games. So... we have point shaving, (basketball), bribed refs (NBA), soccer rigging (singapore), that mysterious 20 min superbowl power outage in N'aluns, and that AC failure in the NBA championship last year. Many NFL playoff games this year have been decided by controversial ref calls. So clearly, the best team doesn't always win. Every post here is about why one team or the other is better overall, but the refs are deciding not just the spreads but W/L on these games! It's quite possible that TV ratings matter most which is why most series run 6 or 7 games and "zig zag." What 2 teams will get the most viewers? What is the best story/narrative for the commentators to blab on incessantly about for days on end after like a Vegas hooker who broke a nail? I am ignorant of standard football knowledge but b/c of this, I also think outside the box. Seattle-GB will probably be closer than most people think; and no one really cares about the Colts; it's not their time yet and viewers would rather hear talk of Brady's incredible career. RECOMMENDATION: take New England ML -260ish), and buy points on GB (currently +12.5/-295ish). parlay each with a quasi "sure thing" in NBA or NHL for near even odds. constructive comments welcomed and good luck :-)

No. The "sharp" money was all of the AM money that poured in on Seattle -7 and -7.5 to move the line to 8.5. I think a one legged GB squad gets pounded into submission.

Same thing that happened with the Colts Broncos game. The spread and moneyline went up hours before the kickoff. From -7 to -9. The Sharps and squares were on Broncos almost 70%. This one is about 50/50 even. I think slight edge goes to Seahawks and guess big money is on SEA.

Packer fan here. Seattle's prowess at home is well documented. Over the last two years the Hawks are 17-2 SU and 12-6-1 ATS. Not only that they are 6-1 ATS as a favorite of less than 10 points and 2-0-1 ATS in the playoffs. That's a lot of home Mojo. I think running the ball will be a big factor in this one and Seattle is better at running the ball and stopping the run as well. To negate Seattle's speed on defense and their pass rush look for Green Bay to try to run Lacy between the guards. Also to give Rodgers a chance with the calf injury look for three step drops and quick short throws into the seems. Seattle likes to run the ball and wear teams down. Rainy windy conditions in Seattle should just enhance conservative game plans for both teams. Hope the Packers can pull it out but can't put my hard earned money on it. I do like the under in this spot. Under46 GLTA! Go Packers

Both games feature home teams that have dominated their opponent both this season and in seasons past. Nothing is a lock but it could be just that simple.

I see Rodgers operating out of shotgun and pistol just like last game instead of dropping back to alleviate his calf. Saw a prop. 3 unanswered scores in this game? Yes -180 No +160. What are they expecting this game to be a blowout?

Lynch has been quiet of late look for him to show up big in this game 2 TDs minimum Seattle will find a way to win and cover at home like they been doing why expect anything different?

Hard to bet against Seattle, the only angle I have for GB is that when a home playoff team doesn't cover the previous week and goes on the road that team is 10-2 ats the next game. Dam I wish Rodgers was healthier. BOL!!!.
