MSNBC reports that 282 former officials have signed a letter alleging Trump administration is destroying justice department.   His lies about the deep state and exaggeration about government inefficiency have purged thousands of public servants.  Now eroded justice department violate court orders, gut anti-corruption efforts, endanger national security, fail to protect civil rights and weaponize law enforcement against perceived enemies.

Oddly, Trump whines about crime rates and disaster relief but his administration cuts federal spending for FEMA, FBI and crime prevention programs.  Instead funding is diverted to mass deportation which leave less money for disaster relief and local law enforcement.  FBI agents help ICE instead of more important work such as investigating terrorism, murders and white collar crimes.  National guard is deployed in cities to do landscaping and garbage pickup instead of supporting police.

To worsen government shutdown, Trump recklessly threatens to layoff thousands of federal workers.  In recent massacre, over 1000 layoffs at Center for disease control are illegal and dangerous.  If another pandemic hits, US national security would be screwed.  As in previous mass firings, Trump administration is now scrambling again to re-hire essential workers accidentally fired.

Btw Trumps rhetoric has went from “I will make America great again” to “Don’t worry we will survive”  both direct quotes from his own SoMe channel - that took less than 8 months to break even the man himself

Controversial for Trump administration to bailout Argentina with loan.  If Argentina defaults, that would be a $20 billion loss for the US.  Meanwhile federal workers aren't being paid during government shutdown.  Odd helping a soybean competitor steal China market from the US while American farmers struggle.
