Trump claim that Venezuela stole oil from US companies is baseless. Actually, companies never owned oil or land and were never kicked out. Chevron still operates in Venezuela and courts awarded compensations for companies affected by nationalization. But US sanctions made it impossible for Venezuela to pay companies.
The fact that some Venezuelans are cheering now doesn't alleviate their fear of what will happen in the days to come. It also doesn't give your boy the authority to kidnap the President of another country. So now, China can do the same thing in Thailand???
But the Venezuelans here in South Florida know that their asses aren't out of the woods just yet. He wants to deport most of them.

1: I believe Trump was right, congress would have leaked it and American soldiers would have died.
Second, as posted above same thing with Noriega, nothing Trump did was illegal. (Unless you put it in a New York court then anything Trump does is illegal)
Third, it appears our CIA has a strong presence in Venezuela. Knowing where and when to find drug running boats, knowing the docks they use, and now, knowing exactly where Maduro was, how to get him, and how to get out. So I have to believe the CIA knows far more and this decision was deemed necessary. And I believe our CIA and military convinced Trump to carry it out. Not Trump telling them to do it as Trump haters and even Trump lovers would believe.

Oh I think the Noriega decision as it went down was very bad as I feel the Saddam decision was and the CIA Bush lie for the Gulf War was, so many bad decisions and while the GOP seems to forward these more often both parties are responsible.
