Trump Called American War Dead ‘Losers’ and ‘Suckers’

I don’t even think he knows what Dday represent - it didn’t feel like it - I think we celebrate it more than you guys do over there !

  On the eve of Nov. 11, Veterans Day  

(called Remembrance Day by our Canadian neighbors and friends within the British Commonwealth)

I am reminded - as a veteran myself (from the 70's/early 80's) -

that der Führer of the MAGA Reich - a fascist/convicted felon - 

mocked our fallen heroes  calling them  "Suckers" and "Losers"

So where's the video of Trump saying that?  Oh, some guy said he heard Trump say that. 

I believe those who went to Vietnam were basically suckers. Fighting a war for what? To stop communists? Hell, democrats are getting communists elected as we speak. 

And I having nothing but admiration for those who survived Vietnam. 

I've tried finding video myself to confirm this since it happened and I still haven't found it....if it's true it's messed up, and if it's not true that's messed up because someone is lying about it for some gain....

I just want the truth and just because some person says it happened doesn't mean it did or did not but in today's world video or audio proof is needed to determine the validity of things....in some cases, AI could even destroy what used to be visual and audio proof of things....I would be interested in knowing the truth here one way or another...I'm not one for accusing someone of something because one person said it happened...even that fox phone call was deemed to have been altered and proven to be false by many sources....

But go ahead and run with it if you want, but just know that it has not been proven and you may once again be spreading lies and hate about something which is really you just causing divisiveness without actual fact...I don't care about Trump, but I do care about whether or not something is factual versus fabricated...lot's of fabrication spread here for some reason as if you are just trying to create the hate....

And for good reason, don't you think?    I mean, after all, the Germans were running over all your asses in Europe until that Day.  And yet, you have the audacity to call out what contributions/good America has done (your comments from a previous thread).

You guys became a part of ww2 because you were attacked during pearl harbour - and because you didn’t want the Soviet Union being the country freeing us and having influence over Europe - that you joined the conflict to help free us was just a nice side effect if you will - don’t kid yourself that it was the reason and what do you want ? Eternal gratitude for sharing country with those who fought? WW2 veterans is pretty much the only Americans I do respect 

There is a video of him calling McCain a loser,but that evidently don't bother you.There's also a tape of him bragging,thats right BRAGGING about sexually assaulting women,and that don't bother you either.

So according to the track record of certain people you admire,I'm sure a lot of people on here could give two shits about your judgement,on who you think deserves  admiration.

If you don’t think people who fought the Vietnam war deserve respect because you don’t align with the reasoning for the war - then there is pretty much only the two world wars left ! For starters it isn’t like military personnel chooses the conflicts they are deployed to themselves - and you don’t have a long standing history of fighting wars with “good causes for mankind” as they main motivator - again the cause for a war is chosen on political level and not military - so politicians are to blame for the causes

I salute all that have served including those currently serving. 

As fubah said, I was drafted. Going to Canada never entered my mind & neither did attending college. I was prime beef for the government. But what amazed me back then & still amazes me to this day, there were guys in Nam that volunteered to be there. I went in there as a naïve kid & came out a changed man. Only in the last 5 years or so have I spoken about my time there. But now I think it would be foolish for me not to share the horrors of war. And when I hear about sending ships to Venezuela & troops on the ground in Nigeria, I get a queasy feeling. It's like we haven't learned a damn thing after seeing the destruction in Gaza & Ukraine. I'm telling ya, it changes you. Seeing what  you see changes you. I've had horrible dreams of hearing the screams of a fellow soldier being tortured at night. Try to sleep after shit like that. War changes you. Ask any soldier that saw battle & they will tell you the same thing. They are changed.

This morning the boss & I participated in the planting of flags at the graves of soldiers. We actually got good news when we arrived learning that we had only 5 additional flags to plant when on Memorial Day we planted 17 new flags. I guess in an odd way, that's a good thing for many of us. 

We better realize we're all on the same team because if we remain divided, all bets are off. 

Suckers because they were fighting an overseas war that no one seemed intended on winning. Back then when young men fled to Canada I then considered them traitors. Now as an old man I do not. There have been countless wars where stupid ass leaders get young men killed when it never should have happened, that was one of them. 

Only a year from his death did my father then tell me some of the real shit he saw in WW2. 

Now I see videos on Yahoo showing drones hunting down a lone young Russian soldier as he tries to run for his life. It will only get worse.

What kinda sick, B#@$%^&! would call Midnight1 and fallen Vietnam draftees "suckers" 

If you guys put troops on either Venezuelan or Greenlandic ground I will be the first in line to call those American soldiers who would die in those skirmishes losers or destroy/piss on the fallen soldiers tombstone - because those two wars would have no purpose other than enriching yourself as the goal - at least doing Iraq and Afghanistan we thought we fought a higher purpose

 Why call the kid soldiers suckers in any scenario? Your shade on Trump above is an insult to your father and his generation and all wars since this country was founded. The fault and flaws lie with the leadership and the decision military and politicians make, not innocent soldiers MANY if not MOST were forced into service by drafts.

A coward bone spur elitist snob is the sucker not the young soldiers who either were forced into drafts or were following the media narrative of patriotism. I have no clue how a few of you can engineer shade for a zero ego coward who calls others who did not have money and connections SUCKERS for service.

I was a "weekend warrior" for  a portion of my 8 years - where I met my BFF KellyM_1964.....but Midnight1 was a VietNam draftee at the time (who didn't have a brown-noser family doctor write him a bogus medical deferral of "bone spurs" - nor would Midnight1 even consider such a cowardly thing) but he actually served in live combat PHHUCKK!  Friends and comrades of his DIED there!

trump routinely disrespects and dishonors our uniformed heroes.
