#35 (A) - spot on.
Intent appears to indeed be perceived. Sad that rather than discuss the merits of a thread or issue, some are more interested in assigning groups and handing out labels.
As to the title, we live in catchy headline times and given prior discussions about 48's intentions for the strip, I thought it was a damn clever tagging.
Always appreciate your insights and good to see you pop in.

Throw enough crap on the wall and you can claim victory this is your approach. I have done exactly what I stated above that you laughed at. I do not approach a topic based on partisan conclusions and many times my personal views are not what I base my conclusions on. This is what I said. Being able to have discussions about subjects which might not fit a personal viewpoint and come to a DIFFERENT conclusion than what your own biases are is a good thing and that is what I do. You really have no idea what my personal in the house views are because I do not bring that as the core of my discussion metrics.
I was sickened by the thread title for many reasons and I stated those, you on the other hand have been trailing me as you usually do to try and tangent me to death asking questions getting answers asking different questions getting answers asking new and unrelated questions to deflect getting answers it never ends. I answer a question and be respectful not steering YOU in a direction. Have I at any time in this multiple page thread demanded that you follow my tangent mindset and turn a topic about the tacky use of Trump cheerleading around a horrible topic of human abuse and destruction into what do I conclude about an UNRELATED concept? I make a position and I stand on it, I have not waivered or changed my issues and position on THIS THREAD. You on the other hand have tried to play spin for multiple pages where discussion no longer exists because it is not about sharing perspectives its about you hen pecking with endless questions intending on deflection and diverting as if that proves something, well it doesnt.
Original topic was tacky crappy Trump cheerleading on a really lousy subject on day 1 of a three thousand year scrape. Nothing happened, nothing to cheer nothing to celebrate there is nothing positive about this and for sure not on day 1 in Jan.

Whole lot of discussion passing over how this will immediately and positively alter the course of 2020 people's lives + however many aid trucks can serve.
Yes. Non-partisan cause for celebration.

This thread might be up for immediate archiving....the comments and notations and points made are fantastic...I was happy moderating the debate on behalf of you two and I must say that there was a clear cut winner....I'm not saying who though, as that would require forcing me to provide examples, which is strictly prohibited...good debate you two and let's hope peace prevails in an area that has been hostile since christ was a mess cook....

In a similar way to their being no gang activity in St. George?
The inclusion of Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey suggests an erroneous presentation of facts.

Nice try packers, but the proof is in all the posts that you have made in the past. I called you out for being a fake jewish person and siding with the hamas terrorists and now your trying to say it was me. Very nice try thou It really is typical of people like you, they get caught and try to say it was the other person. Also i was the one who said that you need to be careful crossing into the USA, cause homeland security might pick you up for having ties to hamas. So if you want to say i was on you, thats totally true but it was because of your posts supporting hamas. Everything you just wrote was 100 percent untrue, but you know that already. Funny how you left for awhile after i exposed you for were supporting terrorists. Might want to do it again

My contention is this does not mean peace, your contention is that it does. When one party destroys the other, names the terms and demands and has done a multiple more in harm and damage that does not equate to peace, negotiation and fairness.
If you throttle me to the edge of my life, destroy my home and possessions then tell me it is time for negotiation and peace that sounds like fascism and abuse, not peace.
This will not lead to peace it will not create equity and fairness and will not restore balance and respect...this is why it will not work short mid or long term.
Split apart the entire region from Gaza to Israel, bring all areas to the same level of access, technology, resources and development, then SPLIT the area equally where both have the same result...this is peace this is negotiation and this is the only solution.

The oracle weighed in, half decent Barack
@BarackObama
After two years of unimaginable loss and suffering for Israeli families and the people of Gaza, we should all be encouraged and relieved that an end to the conflict is within sight; that those hostages still being held will be reunited with their families; and that vital aid can start reaching those inside Gaza whose lives have been shattered. More than that, though, it now falls on Israelis and Palestinians, with the support of the U.S. and the entire world community, to begin the hard task of rebuilding Gaza – and to commit to a process that, by recognizing the common humanity and basic rights of both peoples, can achieve a lasting peace.

Totally tacky and completely false, nice try and nice way of showing your true colors in just a few messages. There are no gangs in St.George, do you want gangs go to E.St.Louis or downtown Phoenix...gangs in St.George yeah ok so there are gangs in Boise Idaho too using your logic.

Does the comments of some public figure change the conclusions you draw? It does not to me, it kind of proves my point and thanks for sharing that. Biden, congress, those in political power and spotlight, the UN, the world did NOTHING to stop the invasion and destruction of innocent people in Gaza so what would I care the words Obama says as he did nothing to stop it from happening.

See #247 - #252 and forgive me for not taking your assertion of no negotiation table at face value.
Did one side have more leverage than the other, sure absolutely. But inasmuch as there is gang activity in St. George, this impasse was negotiated.

@ABooksNightmare
I have proof of history that anything else will NOT bring a positive result. History proves that there cannot be peace when one dominates the other and in this case Israel and pretty much anyone else this is true through history. Anyone who follows the OT or older documents knows this divide has been going on for 3000 years, so how about you tell me what you consider PEACE and equity and negotiation in that area? What do YOU think is reasonable and respectful to ALL human life that exist there?
Do you compare the status of Israel vs Gaza and think this is fair and equitable to the living breathing souls who reside there? Is the destruction and decimation of hundreds of thousands of lives some way a reasonable and respectful way to resolve a hostage crisis? Is this the road to peace, destroy and eliminate your enemy and then tell them it is time to come to the "table"?
So?

Using a general flippant term I could say there is gangs in Lancaster County PA or in Vandalia Illinois because some kids cause trouble. There are no gangs in St.George, you call gangs I call some dumb kids causing trouble, I call gangs what I see here in PHX and what I saw in Kensington PA, not retirement village St.George, oh and there are gangs in Cedar City and Provo too because you know someone said there were and a gang is a gang when you can use it to frame a narrative.

All this is completely ok so long as those people need it more than those who had it....of course they should be able to take stuff from others...please, come to America and take from our citizens

This is what I know...the future is shaped by the minds of the present and the minds of the present are filled with the inequity and abuses of the past. You think that the reason why Israel still holds to the old law is because the future looks better with this kind of outlook, the isolationist and barbaric attitude of the orthodox against those who are not of their faith?
I can promise you this there has not been an effort by the recent past or present to change the three thousand year mindset of both sides, Israel is bent on claiming what is theirs and they are waiting for their savior to give to them that which they feel is theirs. They hold onto the differences in religious ideologies and to the concept of the only way to exist is to eliminate those who are not of your belief system.
When you have religious extremism as a strong narrative in society and religion controls so much of society you cannot just be hopeful and thus it is so. The only way Israel was able to acquire a spot in the region is when the UN gave it to them, no countries or groups in the region voluntarily gave them land because most all others in that land including the Palestinians feel the land is THEIRS. So how can you think that people can co-exist when one group was given prime fertile land without agreement and approval from others living in the area that feel the land is theirs?
This fact alone is a single reason why the future is shaped from the past and is unlikely to improve.
To me the only way to make peace in the area is to give EQUITY and respect and rights to every single group existing there, divide Israel and Gaza into to plots both having equal resources and access, both having recognition and statehood equally, neither side has an advantage over another..that is the only remote way it could work.
It wont...
