GDP, which measures all the goods and services produced in the economy, registered an annualized rate of 3.3% from April through June, the Commerce Department said in its second estimate released Thursday.

That’s up from the 3% rate in the first estimate.

Consumer spending, which accounts for about two-thirds of the US economy, in second quarter was revised up to a 1.6% annualized rate in the latest estimate, up from the 1.4% previously reported.

While domestic missions typically have National Guard troops responding to crises like hurricanes or wildfires, in DC, much of their work in DC has involved mundane tasks – patrolling popular tourist destinations and assisting with “beautification projects” including picking up trash, raking leaves and laying mulch. 

Of the more than 2,200 National Guard soldiers trump deployed to Washington, DC, last month, roughly 1,300 are from out of state.
Guard members on the DC mission and their relatives who spoke to CNN said they left behind civilian jobs and children to serve

National guard is limited in duties under the law. Troops are no substitute for police. At  $1 million or more per day, deployment is cost inefficient and unsustainable in the long term. Furthermore, court has ruled Los Angeles deployment illegal.

Lets play who gets the blame? Another BLS MISS per the people who do not understand what the BLS is or the function it has so who will be torched for yet another poor employment number?

[Trump's] US economy added about 911,000 FEWER jobs than initially estimated for the year ending in March, trump's Bureau of Labor Statistics report suggests. 

Naturally, trump's REICH officials excoriated the BLS after Tuesday’s large estimated revision, claiming that it was a symptom of bigger problems at the agency.

MAGA loyalist economic advisers have been conducting a PARTISAN review and assessment of BLS data quality and operations in preparation for a PARTISAN report that is expected to be sharply critical of the agency, according to three people familiar with the matter. The report has not yet been completed.
