So I'm curious why jurisdictions would continuously cycle individuals through the system.  I'm sure some of it is the writing of laws (vastly different by venue and political make up).  I'm sure some of it is interpretation of the law (also vastly different).  I'm sure infrastructure plays a part also.  

But the one thing I can't get away is the idea that there is so much to be gained in distribution of tax money on the front end of the system (lawyers, judges, support staff) than the back end (prisons).  Haven't dug into the nuts and bolts of it, but there usually is a reason different than the reason given.

I also ponder why you rarely see 10-35× repeat DUI offenders.

 It has everything to do with " the enforcement " of laws already on the books, and not " interpretation."  The progressive Dems just choose to ignore laws ( witness our southern border as another prime example of this behavior by Dems).

As I stated earlier,  the reason why progressive Mayors, Judges, DAs , etc. in our cities go lenient on crime  is because they feel society is to blame for the crimes committed by these perps....there is no accountability by the perps, and therefore the repercussions are a slap on the hand.  What a bunch of idiots our dear Dem leaders are; this only encourages the activity by the perps to continue.

Vast majority of domestic terrorism comes from far right extremists according to FBI data and justice department.

Crime is nonpartisan.  Multiple factors influence crime rates.  For examples, economic hardship, demographics and others.  Democratic and republican mayors have little influence on police department budgets or sizes.  Neither political party has done a better job at reducing crime.  But overall, US crime rates have fallen during last 3 decades.

Since 2001, far right extremists are responsible for 80% of US domestic terrorism according to US government accountability office and Anti-defamation league.  In the last 10 years, far right extremists have committed the majority of extremist murders in every year except for 2016.

Chicago's current story is historic for all the wrong reasons. A February 2025 poll by M3 Strategies found Mayor Brandon Johnson's approval at just 6.6 percent, with nearly 80 percent of voters holding an unfavorable view. It's the lowest rating for a Chicago mayor in modern history, according to the Illinois Policy Institute, and among the lowest approval ratings ever measured in U.S.politics.

2025 is the first time in over 30 years that far left terrorists attack outnumber those from the far right according to Center for strategic studies.  However this is probably temporary and far right could easily return to historic high level of violence.

How does one define far left or far right?  What's the cut-off point and how much middle is there.  How can one be certain some of the fringe middle left or right crime doesn't bleed into those far designations?

I think these are important markers to prevent stagnation based on generality.  What do you think third?

There is an overwhelming sense of cognitive dissonance within the covers squad, the likes that haven't been seen since oBama sent America into an eight year nosedive and almost singlehandedly destroyed the country due to failed policies, financial greed and his overall corruption.

The leftists who have now been crippled with TDS for over a decade are beyond the point of no return. Terrorists have no ability to think critically. Negotiations with terrorists is not possible. And most importantly, terrorists should never be trusted.

Just look at what the left has allowed and encouraged to happen in Minneapolis Minnesota, Dearborn Michigan, and soon to be New York City. These cities have fallen, and it is just the tip of the Jihadist Invasion within USA's population and politics.

American patriotic citizens need to stand up to the left's radical communist agenda immediately before it is too late for all the other blue cities within deeply blue states.

Western civilization will completely fall by 2100 if the left ever get back in power in America.

Sweden has fallen, UK has fallen, France has fallen, Spain has fallen, Netherlands has fallen, Australia has fallen, Canada has fallen. For the sake of global humanity, USA cannot fall.

Or else the entire world will suffer like the Christians in Lebanon and Egypt over the past 100 years, and the current genocide of innocent Christians in Nigeria.

On 25 March 2025, five Republican senators introduced a Bill to the State of Minnesota proposing to add Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) to the state's list of recognised mental illnesses. Their Bill defines TDS as a condition of paranoia, hysteria, intense hostility towards Donald Trump, and aggression towards his supporters.

TDS is real, TDS is dangerous, and TDS leads to violent crimes including murder and assassinations. RIP Mr. Charlie Kirk.

To Make America Safe Again, once JD Vance is sworn in as the next President, he will have to sign an executive order which designates TDS a felony crime.

Pritzker and Johnson need to be held accountable and be imprisoned for their roles of domestic terrorism.

The state of Illinois is a national embarassment, with the city of Chicago being the country's biggest war zone. Pritzker and Johnson have deliberately promoted and encouraged violent crimes without prosecution.

Google search reveals that Trump derangement syndrome still has not been added to catalog of mental illnesses by American psychiatric association or any mental health organization.  By mis-labelling democrats, Trump is trying to normalize hostility and dehumanization among his voters.  Deranged are those who elect a twice impeached, convicted felon, accused rapist, insurrectionist, chronic liar, homophobic, racist tyrant and worst president in US history.

To that logic...that would mean there are millions of people riddled with a very new disease....

Do you think a vaccine could be made to help combat this terrible new disease that has not yet been recognized by the American Psychiatric Association? I mean, how does America stop the spread of such a rampant virus without knowing its complete origin, the cause or how or if it can infect others....I sure hope this gets under control soon before it starts to affect people around me.
