 The downward movement on the total is probably due to the fact that people don't believe either team will have much success running the ball. GLuck tonight. an_cheers

Gents, I know Burrow is gone and McCarthy and wire says Fields, who the hell else! A source said 6 starters will not be suited up next week, Got a meeting to attend @ 7:30 that lasts till 9:15. Any help till I get back would be awesome!

What I'm reading from X regarding the Chargers-Raiders game tonight.

The Chargers, already down Denzel Perryman (one of their best run-stuffing LBers) may also be out Daiyan Henley (their green dot on the field and arguably their best LBer, period). He apparently came down with some kind of illness. Not sure if it's a stomach bug or bad Las Vegas buffet food. While I expect the Chargers offense to carry over from last week, they might be a little shaky on defense.

Another thing I'm reading is that Brock Bowers will be listed as active, but will be mainly used as a decoy. So don't expect much from him, at all. Should be a low-to-zero snap count.

I'm wondering if this will go above the total.

take the under...Raiders are banged up and as you said the Chargers missing key components....run run run is what I am expecting and plenty of punts....Chargers on a Brazillian butt lift hangover as well and da Raiders are just hungover period...the wildcards here are truly the scrambling ability of each QB in this gamepeace_5

Yeah, I know the Raiders are starting Alex Cappa in place of JPG at RG tonight. 

"Cappa allowed the most total pressures of any guard in the last season and has the worst pass blocking efficiency rating of any starting guard."

The Raiders O-line will be facing a near non-existent pass rush though, so something's gotta give. I suspect you may be right if the game resorts to a ground-and-pound by the Raiders. They may not have Bowers' elite blocking and receiving services (really, he can do it all). But I think the Chargers will still put up points on their end. I can't predict if Harbaugh is going to flip to the other side of the offensive playbook and run, when Pete Carroll thinks it's going to be another aerial attack game, or continue from last week.

I see a juicy line on Bovada, which defaults to the Chargers TT o23.5 at -165. (I wish they offered o24 with less juice.) Three TDs and a FG seems doable. peace_5

This could be a first to 20 wins type of game

 

I know they are sometimes notorious for shootouts, but I think this has some strategic game play here tonight with the injuries going on

I'm not touching the total on this game, ABN. I'm usually on the wrong side of 'em. But my mind was definitely saying "over."

I think the Chargers win due to their offense. If I'm the Raiders, though, I'd run, run, run. Daiyan Henley is active, but not sure how healthy he is. Maybe he'll be just as good as Becton was last week (playing with a stomach bug).

May the better team win. For everyone else, may it be an exciting one.peace_5

Gruesome injury for Khalil Mack yesterday. He looked to dislocate his elbow.

These Chargers are not unfamiliar to key injuries.
