It’s a good thing I am more of a prop better because I would have lost my shirt this year with all of the upsets this season. 

Last nite was a good example with Bruins and Hurricanes . What is going on? parity? Or teams playing down to their levels? Twilight Zone?

Thoughts?

Neither upset was really all that surprising.  You need to look at all of the angles.  The Canes have been on the road a while and fatigue is a factor.  Also the Canes have issues when Freddy Anderson is in net.  You'll notice a lot of cappers here were on Buffalo yesterday.

The Bruins probably shouldn't have even been favored vs. the Sharks.  The Sharks have been playing very well this month, better than the Bruins.  And the Bruins are missing one of their key players, McAvoy, to injury.  Hope this helps.

That said, I got my butt kicked Saturday.  I don't have a good explanation for a lot of those games Saturday other than some bad teams were due for a win and playing harder to get one?  It can be a hard sport to handicap.

BUF always plays Canes well in Buffalo (won last 4 home games & 4-1 last 3 seasons).  Agree with Firefly, B's banged up and Sharks are playing some good hockey.  I did think Mild going into Winnipeg and blanking them 3-0 was unexpected, considering Jets dominance over them last 4 years.  Mild do have this young Swede Wallstedt in net behind Gus, and the guy has been solid, so maybe Jets took a day off thinking home game, backup goalie who knows.

But I would agree that Dogs have been profitable, and I have not been picking the right ones.  scroopy noopers bets a lot of dogs, and he is crushing it.  Hope I get invited to his yacht that he going to buy with all his scratch.
