First I want to thank everyone who participated in the forum this year. It was another great year for all.  It’s just too bad that more people don’t realize how great the game of hockey is.  We have so many great posters here, that’s why this is the best forum on the net hands down.  I’ve never seen so many people come together for one common goal.  That’s to kick books to the curb.

 

There is just so many people here that have helped things along.  First and foremost I would like to thank Weebs for running such a great goaltender thread !!!

 

Thanks to everyone that posted in the thread this year.  I know I wasn't always the fastest in getting it posted or keeping up the leaderboard update some weeks. But thanks for hanging in there.


Now to the last day of the regular season with all 30 teams playing.  I imagine the NHL thought almost every game would have playoff implications.  Oooops.....

 

But there is still something for some teams to play for.


Rangers still can will the Presidents Trophy.

 
Florida still can win the Southeast title


Ottawa can clinch the 7th seed with just one point.

Caps still can win the Southeast title


Vancouver still can win First place in Western Conference and Presidents' Trophy


St. Louis can win first place in the Western Conference


Phoenix can still win the Pacific title.

 

Nashville can get  fourth place in the West and the final home-ice advantage in the first round (But take note that when they play an early game could make this moot)


Detroit with a win they still could get  Fourth place in the West and the final home-ice advantage in the first round

 

Chicago still could get fifth place in the West

 

Kings and Sharks. The loser of this game will finish in the 8th spot, the winner could win the Pacific title with depending on if the Yotes can win in Minny

I noticed some dude in other threads bringing up the Min/Dal, Car/TB desperation games of last year.

Phoenix at Minnesota scares the shit outta me after I lost big on the min/dal game last year.   I think Minnesota spoils another Pacific conference team.

I'm liking Nashville more and more, if Detroit wins vs Chicago I'm most likely gonna go that route.
