Goldja...I haven't seen many people that are pumped about the halftime show.  IMO it should be a rule that the performer must have a hit album or song within the past 2 years in order to do the halftime show. 

Bruce Springsteen

Look. The easiest thing to sell is something that has already been sold. And Bruce has sold a ton of wax (I lived back in the day BEFORE cds)
 
I think they've evened it out pretty well. You'll have Paul McCartney (he was in a band before Wings, in case you folks didn't know), U2, Michael Jackson, Billy Joel
But they've also had Britney, Justin Timberlake, Black Eyed Peas....

If Springsteen did a stadium tour right now, he would sell out every single venue within minutes of announcement i every major city in north america, also playing multiple shows in some towns.

 I would love to see a repeat of the Jonas Brothers halftime show.
 
I would rather see Bruce or Petty sing any song at any age than to have to listen to the god awful music being made these days. These are legends of music who in their worst days blow bands like the Jonas Brothers out of the water on their best days.
 
Sooner or later all these legends will be gone and you will be praying for halftime shows featuring guys like the Boss and Petty.

i want to see Taylor Swifts fine little box ....thats my take .. and honestly i dont even watch those  crap halftime shows ,, I have to check down my pants to see if i still have balls when i watch those boy bands because there music makes me feel gay ..... Bruce is old ..he was good  but he his old ..and forget hearing all that born in the USA crap ... that went down the tubes when the gas prices in the summer hit  almost five dollars a gallon... i want to see little blond box....where is Courtney Love when you need her ??? now that would be good ..!!
