The hits just keep coming... Tomlin took over a playoff team with a future HOF QB..  And over the years Drafted  the so call less then more players.. Hence his bad.. His coaching tree is a shrub because of the god awful coaches he has hired.. Ran out of town 2 future HOF coaches because someday they would have taken his job.. And if backing Tomlin money line    or ATS would be losing money check the stats.. class over..peace_5  Thee REAL GOLD is fading Tomlin in the playoffs.. maybe you do this and recoup YOUR Tomlin documented not made up monies .. LOL.. Rain man you are not the sharpest knife in the drawer... You are making  my point Noll started with NOTHING  and was sharp enough  to DRAFT THOSE future HOF PLAYERS...to create a dynasty.. Tomlin started with a loaded deck and HOF QB BEN and WAS NOT SHARP ENOUGH to draft as many likewise players... To run a dynasty into a average at best dynasty..  To wit Noll started with a Ford Pinto made it into a Rolls Royce.. Tomlin started with a Lincoln Town car and made it into a Chevy Malibu... NO BEN...NO MIKE 'THE QUIP'...

 Wrong. Nothing novel about being in the gutter and building a good team. Trash teams get the best picks Tomlin has been too good for his own good and with zero losing seasons he’s never been gifted high draft picks.

I suppose I will educate a little more on Steeler football seeing as you badly need it..  Noll had ONE 1st pick in the draft ... Terry Bradshaw .. after that he had none higher then 6th.. and only one of them.. In fact in the 1974 draft he picked FIVE FUTURE HOF players in just that one draft.. Only one 1st rounder.. And FYI a high 1st rd pick is no lock to even play in the NFL.. In one year Noll picked more future HOF players then Tomlin did in 18 years and they WERE NOT HIGH PICKS.. Of course Chuck would pick more in later years when they were good.. class over.. peace_5

Only spouting the facts as I see them and when the Steelers play a real team and not these tomato cans (Jets and Patriots), they will get their nuts tightened.
Tomlin is supposedly a motivator but he knows nothing about Xs and Os and game planning. Pittsburgh will never return to post season glory with this fraud as their head coach.

You are very disingenuous. Just because you don’t have the number 1 overall pick every single year doesn’t mean if you’re picking 8th that’s it’s a bad pick, you’re getting top quality guys at that stage. And you conveniently left out Noll’s very first pick Mean Joe Greene who went 4th overall. You can credit the scout Bill Nunn for putting most of the Steel Curtain together he’s the one that told Noll to draft those players. In Bradshaw’s last season when they desperately needed a qb Noll passed over Marino. Once the hall of fame players retired the record didnt hold up with a 4 year stretch going 26-37.  In 12 of the 19 years Tomlin has coached his first round draft pick was pick 20th or below. One of those years Pitt had no first round pick so only 6 times has Tomlin drafted a player higher than 20th with the highest being the 10th pick once.
