That's a valid point, especially vs Jordan Love.
Pitt better be focusing on Jonathan Taylor first and foremost though. Stopping that run game is the key to slowing down the Colts imo. No one has really done it yet.

Colts dont cover or straight up lose.
Nothing ever that easy.
Of course Rodgers could pull a Rattler vs Bucs or a Fields vs Panthers.
Clearly line suggested otherwise but QB performance so bad taking the fav was the obvious play.

I think the Colts are over-rated, they've beaten up on a bunch of cupcakes, except for the Rams, which they lost to. Granted, The Steelers are no prize themselves, but catching 3 points at home, give me the points, Colts are due to lay a real clunker. I'm sure they're reading the headlines and think they're actually good. they're not, they're mediocre, playing in a really crappy division, probably the worst in the NFL. The books are begging you to take them, be my guest.

Bettors should be cautious of really good or bad team performances on prime Sunday and Monday night games, as they often do a 180 the following week.

I have been listening to the Fan radio streams from Pittsburgh and you can imagine the vitriol they are dishing out and that are also found in the comments' section. Aside from the owner of the Pirates (Bob Nutting), Tomlin could be the most hated man in Pittsburgh. Of course Greenberg and Eisen think MT is a man/God. I have a theory about that too but it might cause me grief to stand and deliver. ![]()
It is a well known fact that Tomlin calls the defensive signals and makes the defensive game plan. He never makes adjustments during the games either.
The DC is Teryl Austin and he is just the guy who will be the scapegoat if they decide to make a move, which I doubt. They are effing themselves by allowing the receivers to get off the line untouched as it gives the edge rushers no time to get home. The Packer and Bengal receivers were running free as birds thru the Swiss cheese secondary these last two weeks.
Right you are, I'm experiencing the power of recency bias, those demons that you mentioned. All the best, ![]()

I bet the packers last night with the thinking that the real spot for the Steelers was next week at home against the Colts.
I’ll be on Steelers ML. They can’t make it toooo easy for the Ravens.

This. Lot of weird shit from week to week.
If you watched the game yesterday, Steelers defense was lazy as hell, gave a TE 128 yards after the catch or something and just looked like they were pretend tackling the whole night leaving this guy open on almost every play.
Wouldn't be surprised if they suddenly play lights out defense next game.

Colts score 33.8 ppg, Pitt allows 25 ppg
Pitt scores 25 ppg, Colts allow 19.3 ppg
Colts -3 all the way to the Bank!!!

The Steelers Defense has given up 30+ points in their first 7 games and that hasn't happened since 2003..Seems like a good bounce back spot for the Steelers at Home getting 3 but I don't trust them right now..

I hear what you’re saying. It’s like getting in front of a freight train and hope it stops. The issue, as far as I can tell, is the defense is not responding to Tomlin as a coach or his play-calling. Remember what happened to this team at the end of last year. Well, it is continuing. Nothing has changed. The defense is still getting raped, unless they get turnovers like they did against the Pats. This is a Pittsburg spot, but what confidence do we have that there will be a response? ![]()

I got burnt 2 consecutive weeks by this team, kinda giving up on them. Seems like they forgot the game is 4 quarters not 2, just like the Arkansas Razorbacks on nccaf.
