BUCS must win or they wimper off the field as failures.
Carolina, otoh, might not need to win! They could blow it in Tampa, but if Atlanta beats the Saints, the 3 way tie at 8 - 9 gives the loser Panthers the div title!
Personally I feel the playoff system is messed up, as this illustrates.
I am NOT IN FAVOR of loser teams making the playoffs at all, regardless if they are the least worst in a BAD division.
However, at the very least, make a new rule that LOSER teams must not be rewarded with a HOME wildcard game against a BETTER team!
